Database Errors

Sorry about those database errors. The post table became corrupted and had to be repaired.

Everything should be working fine now.

I have a suspicion that it was more than just a post table problem... something like a sword *cought*tony*cough* taken to the servers is more like it!

Thanks for fixing it though.

I edited the first post in that thread with no problems.

Try to clear your browser's cache, restart the browser and try again. See if that helps.

The post table wasn't totally fixed when I made this thread.

Give it another shot and let me know if you get the error or not.

Amusing that my first post to these boards will be on this topic

I am VERY interested in the database errors you are seeing. I run a vb based board and am getting Post corruption errors as well after upgrading to the 4.x tree of MySQL.. It has become known as 'the post monster' since it tends to eat posts after we repair the tables

How often are you seeing it? What hardware you running this on? A duel CPU machine or single CPU?

thanks

We're running it on several machines, all dual cpu. Are you running 4.0.15a? If not, you should be. This is probably the first corruption we've seen in like 3-4 months, but that's because a bunch of our tables are innodb.
