We've got ACES, which is the league in Alabama. There's plenty of places close to Tuscaloosa for you to play at, just check the map and try out some fields, I'm sure you'll be able to find someone to help you out in person.

Long story short the Alabama team doesn't run anymore. Not enough interest from players, not enough commitment, not enough organization. They played 3-4 NCPA events last year and that was it.

actually if your looking to play next year or next semester i think you'll be fine. From what i hear they are going to be really good next year with 1 or 2 guys coming back and several very legit freshman.

as Mirdado above said he can get you in touch w/ the guy you need to talk to. but they aren't playing right now due to randomly loosing some people out of the blue. nothing new for paintball teams.

Also, there are 3 paintball fields that are less than an hours drive from Tuscaloosa. Splatzone in Cottondale is the closest. It's right on the outskirts of Tuscaloosa. There there are two fields in the Birmingham area. Paintball Quest and Red Rock. Paintballl Quest is in McCalla and Red Rock is in Hoover.

Paintball Quest is where I play.

I've only played at 2 of the 3 fields. But I know a lot of people that play at the other one.

Paintball Quest usually has the largest crowds and generally the most tournament level players. On a good weekend, they'll have 150 people on a Saturday. Red Rock gets it's fair share of tournament players too but I think they get more scenario players. Not sure about their crowd size. Splatzone isn't real well known and sometimes has very little business at all.

I prefer Paintball Quest because it is BYOP. And of course the fact that I'm sponsored by them doesn't hurt either.
