the freak is an awesome barrel and cant be compared to any other, you can match all your paint and it fits so perfect and shoots so good, its just awesome, but if you use 1 kind of paint all the time then just find the bore size and by a cheap CP barrel that fits the paint perfect and it will shoot the same
Well, lets see. I've had a Freak kit on both the Angel and Autococker for about 4 months now. I've gone through about 10 cases of various paint without a single break. Does that tell you anything? (that's 20,000 paintballs with 0 breaks!).
I hate the freak....last year my team was DYE sponsored and this year we went with Smart Parts. I got a back for an Angel and a back for a cocker, a 14" front and a 16" front, and all the inserts. I cant stand the f'ing barrel. They are too much trouble the dont shoot that great and now the year is over so I get to throw the DYE's back on. Its good to be able to match up your barrel with your paint but I had 4 different bore sizes in the boomsticks so personally I had no problems. I always played with the DYE Ultralite anyways. That barrel rocks
