back drills i would practice loading my hopper in front of the tv so you can load faster and practice shooting your gun fast you wont need to run fast or anything other than that. tape runner i would practice running up and down stairs till your legs fell like jello then run for 20 more mins. mid player practice both as they might need to fill in back or front player so the mid player must be the most skilled.

practice snapshooting, it's important in every position. Also sliding, front players with thank you later. For mid play I think the training Furb says and maybe a little more focus on the break and how accurate they are.

This may sound stupid but it really worked when my friend tried to get me to slide correctly.

Mark a line in the grass somewhere between 5-10 feet away from the intended bunker.

Teach them how to slide (if they already dont know)

Then tell them you will stand to the side of the snake for every person, and if the slide wrong or dont reach the intended bunker you shoot them in the *** during the slide.

Honest this really worked for me, it teaches the right lenght of the slide and speed. Also how far you slide for a certain speed and slide. Just make sure they know you will shoot them if they screw up. I didnt at first and I kept screaming "why the **** do you keep shooting me?!" then he finaly told me...never screwed up since and that was 2 years ago.

i like snapping while there is a guy (guy 1) posted. so you have one body posted beside a bunker, just laning paint at another guy (guy 2). guy 2 snaps out practicing first ball accuracy, guy 1 just stays posted.

it doesn't matter how many times guy 2 gets shoot as long as he hit guy 1 eventually with one ball.

you know for crawling to move up the snake have a guy on the other side of a snake live firing their gun and it will teach them to stay lower and move fast or be in a world of hurt. *sigh* i miss training days like those with friends. lmao!

We used to put old halo shells on a stick, and set it up in snake. Then we would run down D-side and have to hit the Halo from across field w/o stopping or slowing down. And conversely, play snake side and pop-up and shoot D-side with someone shooting down snakeside at you.

Also, try snap-shooting at 12oz gatorade bottles (If no one else wants to practice against you, something you could do in your backyard)

Play entire games using your off-hand.

There are plenty to do, just read up.

Everyone should practice EVERYTHING, you never know when the need will arise...

I THINK I made my own drill, but I could be wrong. I call it the 6 ball drill. Here's what you do, have 2 targets set up with one strait in front of you (indicating a back center opponent) on a field the size of an X-ball field. Then you place a second target 20 feet to the right ( indicating a back right). then you place 3 cones at your breakout, 15 feet strait up, then a final cone 15 feet to the right at a semi- 45 degree angle to indicate a snake. Now, here's how you use it, simply take a shot at each target at each station then run to the next. For each target you miss, do 5 push ups (optional)

Best way to do it is all out. Do not try to go in slow motion or else you will face plant. Make the commitment in your mind that you are going to go all out before attempting it or else you will look like an idiot while you're picking the mud out of your teeth.

Start running. Before you start your dive, get down lower to the ground like you're bending over. The closer you are to the ground, when you start your dive, the less it will hurt. Make sure that when you land, it is somewhat in this order: Arms first, side second, knees & legs last. If your knees hit first, you will stop dead in your tracks and face plant. Keep in mind you are not jumping. So your feet should not really leave the ground.

The way you dive will also depend on what hand you're holding your marker in. Now, for the record, this is just how I do it, and not necessarily the right or wrong way to do it. It's just what works for me.

If my marker is in my right hand, then when I dive, I make sure my right arm hits first. If it is in my left hand, then I make sure my left arm hits first. Reason being, I find it allot easier to let the ground help support the weight of the marker while sliding, then to try and hold it up on my own against the force of the impact. Make sure the palm of your hand (that the marker is being held in) is pointed towards the sky too or else you'll drag your marker across the ground.

Hope this helps.

good drill a teammate showed me is running and gunning

you set a cone or a bottle on a stick at mid field

start at a back corner and take 1 shot at a time
once u hit said object you take 1 step (in a running stance)
and you continue until you are across the field then go back with your other hand

eventually you will be faster and keep your gun level while running

my team does chaous drill. you start 3v3 and spread out the people to different sides. then u play and once someone gets out u run out and take their spot. you can go to any bunker not necisarlily theres but to make it fair i would make a rule that no one can play past 50
