Care to elaborate?
The All-As in the AXBL (nor the PSP) don't strike me as the type of team that says "hey, we made it to the top now lets quit this league"

Smart Parts never did and never will support the Heroes financially. All money spent for events including transportation, lodging, food, players fees and paint was paid by the players.

No I don't care to elaborate because it's a private matter.
But I do care to tell everyone that it does not have absolutely anything to do with Smart Parts.

Guys,
There is a turnover of teams from season to season. This is normal and not cause for concern. I have spoken with many people regarding transfers of ownership and there is nothing out of the ordinary. We see this every season.
As far as Philadelphia is concerned, I have had a conversation with Tim Montressor and I can tell you that it has nothing to do with the league or how it is run nor has it anything to do with Smart Parts and their current financial position. This is simply an internal team issue. I wish them luck and we will certainly see them this season in one aspect or another.
Good luck to all!
Mitch

This isn't soccer, where the point is to use as much finesse and skill as possible to get a ball into a goal. You don't have to get the flag past a goalkeeper or anything. Push the flag into the nets and call the point.
All it's doing now is sending the refs on a power trip. It's arbitrary and dumb. If your team just shot five people, you managed to not get shot and you bring the flag down and touch it to the station, who cares if the force of your arm thrusting forward moves it six inches over the line? A) When the flag touches net, the point should be over, and B) again, it's not anything like scoring a soccer goal from out of bounds. The flag hang is little more than symbolic. I've seen players hold back from an all out dash to score a tying point because they were worried about "breaking the plane". If anything, isn't it MORE dangerous to have someone careening towards the wooden part of the structure and trying to stop their mass on a dime? At least if you charge through a net you don't destroy a structure.
Don't negate the effort and hard work of teams by keeping this stupid rule.

Who's ego are you truely attempting to protect? No points were given or lost, only a player stumbled over or into a tripline called the plain. Most players consider it a lesson, while others consider it a nightmare. Changing the rule only changes the dimensions of the game, not it's integrety. Very few rules are ever so humbling to a player, lost in the moment of an empty victory.

I must agree it is a crappy rule. It should be removed. The only time i could see it legitimatly coming into play is if there is someone in the box and it is done intentionally as a taunt

I think the judges should actually pick the true performers of the game for nax stars instead of some how people who dont play better then others still come out with Nax stars just thought its been kinda a joke the past few seasons
