1) No, daytime it just means you're out on a bounce. Nighttime it's okay, but not necessary by any means
2) people will argue, but it's a waste of money
3) Get a cheap FRS talk about. It will do you fine until you get experience and play with organized teams using 900mhz & programmable VHF.
4) Get a hotel room. There is no substitute for a hot shower.
5) A suitcase is fine.
6) Check to see if fires are allowed, burn bans may be in effect. Do it the smart way, bring a small can of lighter fluid.
7) Bring 2. 1 clear for camp, 1 with a red lens cover as it's less damaging to your natural night vision.
8) Don't bother. Probably against most rules anyways.
9) Don't bother, useless.

Alittle trick for those of you that wear cleats instead of water-proof combat/hunting boots. When its cold wear a zip-lock bag in between two pair of socks. It water-proofs your feet so you don't freeze you toes as quickly. Note: This works best in when your moving.

I used this trick last weekend when playing a scenario in a few inches of snow and sub-freezing weather. Worked good takes alittle getting comfortable with but I didn't have to stop because my socks frozen.

Also, recommend a portable heater or finding a friend with a nice tent to hide in and warm your soul. (thanks Yankee Division!!!)

1. Sleeping bag. Even during the summer it often gets cold at night.
2. First aid kit, and whatever medicines you take. Bring extra, you'll never know when you might need it (Like the game a few weeks back, I found out the hard way that my 24 hour allergy pills only work for 19 hours)
3. Paper towels, duct tape, trash bags, and twine: You can solve 90% of all problems in your camp site with these.

listen to how dubious all of you are.....Listen NUMBER one thing to bring for a 24 hour event enough alcohol to get drunk and pass out...you wont care how cold, how smelly, how frostbitten, how much your balls are chaffed...because you will be PAssed Da F out!
