Best CO2 Regulator for the Price

Hi, I'm kinda on a limited budget for my Piranha (as most of my money is going towards my T1) and I'm lookin' for a good regulator that is preferably below 50 dollars that works well with CO2. Yes I would like a Palmers Stabilizer, but it being 100 bucks is a bit high. Yes it's uber, but is there one a bit cheaper that's almost as good performance? I know, CO2 isn't as good as HPA, but that's all I got to work with on the Piranha at this time. The gun will be more of a backup/loaner gun so getting a HPA tank at this time isn't the best idea. I may eventually get a steely (as it won't be a primary) just so it runs more efficient and consistent. But at this time, I will be running CO2 in it.

You could look around in the B/S/T for a used Stab...

But I heard that the WGP Ergo regs work pretty good with CO2 as well as the Bob Long Torpedoes

I have 2 guns with low resale value, there's no point on having several guns that don't work. I might as well make them usable, whether for me or for friends of mine that feel like playing a game once in a while.

Would an Evil Detonator be pretty decent for CO2? I know it's supposed to be the shiz for compressed air, but haven't really heard many say anything about CO2 (there were a couple sites that "mentioned" it but that's about it). I would assume it's ok, as it comes on the EVOs. But I'd like a confirmation about that.

Also, my CO2 isn't an anti-siphon, so I may need to do something about that as well. Or should I just save some of the CO2 money (palmers reg and anti-siphon) and buy a HPA Steely? I guess it would be cheaper, as I could get an Evil Detonator indefinitely (they're like 30 bucks nowadays) and have a nice consistency. A 30 dollar reg + like a 30-50 dollar steely might be a better approach I guess. Or maybe even spend like 100-150 on a CF tank + the detonator.

Any regulator you choose will be sufficient, as long as your CO2 tanks are anti-siphoned to fit that particular gun.
Also...a couple drops of oil placed into the ASA,before screwing on the tank, will make sure everything glides smoothly.

I agree with Virus, a stock Piranha reg is cheap as it gets and your local pb shop can antisiphon your tank pretty cheap too. Keep an eye on Ebay though. I get a great deal on there every now and again. I just picked up another Crossfire CF tank for $53.00 plus shipping. I know there are Evil Dets for $10.00 on Ebay, plus if you get a good deal on a tank, you might be well under $100.00 for a good setup.

If you're on a budget, I'd say go with a Torp, they're fairly common, parts are still easy to find, and maintenance is a joke. I have had them on Intimidators and there's one on my Sniper right now (which I use with CO2) and haven't had any issues.
