You've got 10.5 inches. A 13ci Ninja fits. I put a nipple out the side with an ASA facing forward and screw the tank into that. It then goes into a holster easily. Here's some pics.

Thanks....looks like there's not enough room for the 22ci tank with the stock barrel. I have a clamp that will clamp to the launcher tube and then clamp to the tank to suspend it under the tube. I plan on modding this weekend and will post a pic if it works out.

Anyone near their launcher that can give me the OD of the barrel?

I just thought I'd chime in a bit here, since I do know a bit about SPUDlaunchers. Barrel length will almost ALWAYS yeild higher velocity and accuracy with "paintball" style launchers. Why? Because these launchers are built extremely inefficient because of portability reasons. First of all, the higher pressure is needed for lack of air volume (P1V1=P2V2). However, when that small amount of air is released at such high pressure, it takes a while for the projectile to reach terminal velocity (or I should say, for the air to be fully utilized). If you were to look at some of the spudlaunchers I have made, in order to get MAX distance, the barrels were required to be atleast 8 feet in length. Like the origianl poster to this thread wrote, when you have such a short barrel, as on the Metadyne, most of the exhausted air is being wasted AFTER the nerfie has left the barrel. Ideally, you want ALL that air force to be pushing on the nerfie. So, if you extend the barrel long enough (to just before there is a vacuum), then you have 100% air efficiency on the projectile. Also, with this efficiency, gives accuracy. If the nerfie comes out of the barrel with air still left exiting the barrel, that extra air causes a vortex, thus interrupting flow of the nerfie. This is why a lot of the times, you will see people shred their nerfies out of the homemade LAWs. They try to "up" their velocity (raise the pressure) and the nerfie can't handle the exiting turbulance. I did a test on my MKX launcher, and with the velocity adjuster thumbwheel about half way in/out, and a 6 foot barrel, I was about to shoot to about 300fps with killer accuracy. With the stock barrel, I could only get about 130-140fps with random accuracy, based on the condition of the nerfie...

So, bottom line DOC92 hit the nail on the head. Lengthen the barrel and you will get better accuracy and higher velocity, but of course you compromise portability...

(BTW, the does NOT count for paintballs. Why? Because paintballs have a liquid, thus unstable volume/mass. Yes, a longer barrel may give a bit more efficiency, but it may not add up to accuracy.)

I don't have Calipers on hand, but a ruler says just under 2 1/4''. My best estimate is 2 7/32''

I would like to see a 12gram quick change adapter from Metadyne that directly attached to the launcher for the under the Rifle mount....ie because rigging an extra macro line is cumbersome and nearly impossible/difficult for Invert Mini based markers like the TM-15 because the ASA has no other air fitting holes except for the gauge.

I rigged up a 12 gr quick change & blew out o-rings left & right and only got 1 good shot. Try using an ASA adapter from Palmers & running the macro off that. It works on my TM7 but I can't use my remote adapter because it leaks but it worked fine when I put the tank on it directly.

This is my buddies 15, its not that hard to do

But when I run undermount I use a proconnect remote so its just a matter of yanking the line off my 15 and gassing up the havoc, killing the tank/bunker, and switching back.

Are there any instructions for mounting a pressure gauge to the air chamber? I presume just drill, tap, screw gauge in?

I see the havoc has a hose and special fittings that connect the ASA to the main body. Does anyone know where to get those parts?

So I need to know where to get the nipples and the long black hose.

Please ignore the double entendre.

Umm, those are just macroline fittings...

I was wondering if coating the inside of the havoc with rain-x would help or hurt? I've noticed that the nerf's have about a 10 shot limit before they crack in half. I have mine mounted under my X-7

Nerfs have a limited life span with havoc launchers. It's the low volume high pressure output on the shot that puts so much wear and tear on the footballs. No way to make them last longer...

I hit up every Target in North Jersey last year. I called ahead, and hit every one with more than 10 in stock. Four days and six targets later, I had 89 Nerf Rockets...I'm still shooting from this cache.
