I personally would love to see us go back to the original xball format but at this point it's not feasible. I think the psp has made leaps and bounds over the years to get to where they are now. I believe that the formats that psp has had over years were much better than the current. Thankfully paintball is still an amazing sport. Magic cocker.....you play at Chicago land correct? Ask Andrew if fields in tn are rag tag...I highly disagree with that seeing as how I've played at multiple fields across the country and in all areas you have rag tag fields ad the great ones.
I know not all fields in TN are rag tag. The family that owns our field also owns one in TN. I've been to a few of them down there. The people I was referring to just seemed to be living in the past or play specifically at some filed that still lives in the '04-'07 paintball era.
Xball and the race to format is an ever changing experiment for paintball. "Real Xball" was in no way superior to the race to format. It wasn't more fun. The matches were to long, paint consumption was extremely high, and you faced the chance that you would go to an event and go 2 and out. The sport is progressing, that's the important thing here. They're making it as affordable as possible, spectator friendly, and further legitimizing the sport.
