The problem with that is if a team is not in the running for the series they have a tendancy to drop out. I like the formula we have. Cheap entry and paint are the key. Only change I'm interested in making is I may take the very small amount 3rd gets and roll it into 1st and 2nd event prize.

We are at our sponsors mercy on series prizes so I will do what PSP tells me they can offer for Cup entries and put together a little something for a travel assistance pkg. to go with it similar to this year.

We have an ultimate who has been reffing PSP events for going on 5 years now. For 2010 we are recruiting 6 additional, 4 full time and 2 alternate refs to travel with us and give some consistancy to the series.

The remaining refs are volunteers provided by the Host.

I don't think cinci will be there...we have spent time rebuilding our roster so we can play with more than 6-7 guys

We will continue to play the msxl next year though

Any idea what the field layout will be for the first event? or are the layouts not released prior to the events?

the MSXL gives the most bang for your buck you are gona get. anytime a team can play a min. of 16 points and could be 30 plus points and only pay apx. $130 each and win some money back, thats hard to beat!
the MSXL did a great job with its first year and i am sure that they will get better each year they do it. when players can afford to play, more teams will play. to me that helps grow the game. when something works as this does, why change it?

Thank you everyone, we are going to be making minor adjustments as we grow to compensate for the growth and hopefully make a better league. Nothing drastic, add a few refs and staff improve the prize pkg... Good luck to all the teams in 2010.

The Winter indoors are seperate form the 2010 outdoor series. Both have event prizes the indoor does not count towards the National Championship points race. Too early to know exactly what the 2010 Series prizes will be.

Waiting on a phone call. 1st event at Plex does not have the exact diminsions of an XBall field they 2-fields are long enough but I belive like 100ft wide so they may be a random layout unannounced. Last 2 events are on a single reg. size field so we can pull something from past events or have Sup-Air do up an original layout.

Their entire dimensions for the whole area are 250' x 120'.. so no there wouldn't be enough room for 2 fields

I have an idea.

For the summer it was a race to World Cup... Well how about for the winter have it be a race to Phoenix? I mean how sweet would that be?
