Has anyone done something since the last thread died? Talk to a few fields about getting stuff straight & equal across the board?

Brother, if I thought teams would show up, I'd do it all over again. Unfortunately, unless Team 120 brings two teams, you guys wouldn't get to play.

C'mon, at least give us a little love.
Torque Series = Real paintball. If no one wants to play that, Arkansas just needs to stick to 3-man events.

I had assumed that JL was no more (didn't think the UofA team would come).

2.5-3 hours worth of driving for me, wakeing up at 4am. leaving no later than 5 to get there at 7:30-8am & playing at 9am.
A couple of times a years is fine, something a little different wont hurt.

I want to play tournament ball, I dont want to spend half the day in my truck doing so. I know there are others that want to play, either 3 or 5 man, that cant afford to drive that far for a few hours of play.
I think if we can get 3 or 4 fields together, we can have a half *** decent year. Im willing to start or help someone to get the ball rolling for next year if YALL want to.
Thoughts?

I once traveled from Tulsa to Dover for practice every other week.People say they want tourney paintball but dont want to travel.I agree with plastic on that you should probably try to set up events own a rookie three or five man level. There are other players out there that want to play on a higher level. To fix this problem just support your local fields by having practice or scrims or local tourneys. As far as the rest of you who want more, well you guys know what that takes, time, money, transpo, and mo money.I own a field in the tulsa area yet I played the last dover event to support and play with guys I have played agianst for years. If my 2 cents matter I say if you want something than do it yourself instead of waiting for players, store and field owners to kick start it.Also field presence is vital, players dont come a dime a dozen, you must suck it up and come together as players to even keep the seen alive. This is not something thats going on in arkansas but in the areas alot of you guys played, okc, tulsa, joplin.I talked to several teams and field owners and everybody is getting half the people they did last year.Talk to teams and fields to organize scrims back and forth so that you support the seen in a whole."just my 2 cents" Oh and support your local shop big up to Ed and andy

I'm pretty sure it mostly had to do with all bark and no bite from teams. What do I know though? It had a lot of potential. All the elements were there for a great series, except the teams. Ya can't make them come. I'm still of the opinion that a lot of it results from a different upbringing. If they can't win immediately, they won't play. It's better for them to be a backyard superstar than to put in the work to get better on a larger scale.
