I think 100 bucks would be better spent on a new board. The new bolt will barely give you any new advantages, so tiny you won't even notice.... DM's already shoot lasers stock.

These gais speak the truth. Get a Tadao board. It's way worth it. I'd only get a replacement bolt if the original one got damaged somehow.

i think the opposite....whats the point of a new board? the stock board is capable of doing everything you need and all the modes you need for competitive paintball. and if you get the bolt and tune your gun you will notice a difference. you cant just throw it in and have the same settings as your old bolt.

i kinda agree with everyone to a point, yes you can buy a bwing and tune your gun but it's still pretty similar to tuning your gun with the stock bolt. theres only so much tuning you can do. but if youre playing xball theres no point in a new board, to be honest aftermarket anything on a 1300 dollar gun is pointless now (yes i know b wing isint aftermarket)

Exactly, you cant outshoot your board and it has all the settings you need. Getting a bolt will at least give some tiny amount of accuracy.

There's no way you can visually justify you are shooting more accurate, not to mention accuracy isn't only determined by your bolt. Unless you sit there with two DM8's and measure the spread of your shots. The barrel and paint/bore size matching also comes into play. A hundred bucks shouldn't only give you a TINY bit... Where as in comparison new board for 100 bucks gives you so much more.

yes very true, but im going to guess if anything is going to make for better accuracy its the bolt rather then the board.

I would spend the $100 on paint. Neither a board or B-wing bolt make enough of a difference to justify the cost, at least to me.

Better bang for the buck? I'd say board.... But the DM8 already shoots tits, save the money on good paint and good food.

Edit: If you don't already have the DM9 eyepipe, get that asap, and 80 bucks for paint and food.

Yup your much better just going out and playing to actually get better rather than wasteing money on a "upgrade" part.

I looked around a lot at bolts before i ended up getting one. The way i saw it was:
If im going to get a new bolt I'm not going to get one thats rediculously similar to my stock one... how much of a difference can that make?

It wasnt untill i saw the Tech-T bolt that i seriously considered it.
The bolt is something like a 3rd of the weight of the stock bolt. So without a doubt you know your going to gain a few things: a more efficient gun, and better accuracy because theres less blow back/ **** moving around. All because your losing a good percentage of the moving weight on your marker.

I know this bolt brings in a lot of skeptics and critics but I'm not speaking out of ignorance. I did purchase the bolt and i can't/ will not say there is no downsides. This bolt requires A LOT of tuning and adjusting, and unless you're going to send it back to tech-t or pay a professional (thats worked on this specific bolt before) to install it then i cant recommend getting it. Or of course you could do it yourself if your very confident in your abilities and don't get frustrated easily.

It took me a while to get my l7 tuned but the result is extremely noticeable. The small amount of kick the marker previously had is completely diminished. I also noticed i had to turn my velocity way down which resulted in me using much less air per cycle, and getting a lot more shots per tank. As far as accuracy goes, i did notice a difference, but mostly due to the reduced kick. The gun jumps up less and is easier to keep consistent.

i have a virtue oled and bwing bolt

board 200$ = convience of oled screen, everything else is irrevelant

bwing bolt 100$ = low pressure, better effiency, ball on ball accuracy

i would buy a trigger, bolt and dm9 eye pipe for 200$ than on a oled board
