Morlock board

hey, i'm thinking of getting a morlock board, My friend says he knows how to solder *shudder*. Its pretty expensive considering you could prolly damage it pretty good trying to install it. Anyway are they hard to install and where the hell would it fit in the grip frame, everything is so packed in there.

It fits beside the battery, on the other side of the capacitor. The board itself is the height and width of my pinky... maybe a little smaller.

To install it, you're going to make just 3 solder points onto the stock board. 2 for the trigger and one for power. For power you wire the board in parallel with the capacitor... But to make it so that the on/off switch turns the morlock on/off I soldered the morlock's + power to the switch. I also had to use a file to carve a couple of grooves into the stock board, to allow the wires to pass by the stock board... It's kind of a pain to get it all to fit... since you have to also manuever the wires past the microswitch. i'll try to post some pics of what it looks like inside the gripframe this weekend.

My advise though is to wait... go with the chip that chris_pdp is making. It'll be cheaper no doubt and he'll do the install for yah...

I am confused, I heard evil was making a new board of its own... why would you want to go with someone on the out side (other than not having to wait until the new board come out)?

Mostly curiosity. Also it's a fun board that I can put in any marker... its good for testing out a gun's limits. I've cycled the gun w/o paint at 26 cycles a second, but it didn't seem to work too well at 30. Oh and the not having to wait part matters to me .
