BCPPL Event 3 "The Westcoast Classic"

BCPPL Event #3 The West Coast Open 2009

September 19-20 2009


Location

We are pleased to announce that BCPPL Event 3 “The Westcoast Classic” September 18/19/20 , will be held at Ambush paintball, in beautiful Surrey BC.

Ambush has recently been performing some major upgrades to there facility…..including the playing fields, and extra amenities like spectator bleachers.

E3 was originally scheduled for The Stetson Bowl, but current economic conditions make such an event unviable.

The BCPPL will be back at the Rodeo grounds. For Event 4 “The Brawl for it All” ….in the Agriplex of course!

Ambush is centrally located, and is close to restaurants, hotels, major freeways, and the US border. Ambush also has more than

ample parking, water, trade show space, food services, and nice weather.

Field layout

Field layouts are available to paid and registered teams.

Layout will be released publicly after the early registration deadline.


Dates and preliminary schedule of events

Friday Sept 18th
4:00pm - Team checkin/ ID pickup opens (open until 6:00pm)
4:00pm - Fields open for walking by all teams.
7:30pm - Fields close for walking

Saturday Sept 19th
7:30am - Doors open (team check in and paint sales)
8:00am - Division 4/3 captains meeting.
8:15am - Division 4/3 Games begin!
12:00pm - Division 1 and 2 captains meeting.
12:30pm - Division 1 and 2 games begin

Sunday Sept 20th

7:30am - Doors open
8:15am - Division 4/3 games begin.
TBA - Division 1 and 2 games begin
TBA - Division 1/2/3 semi-finals
TBA - Division 1/2/3/finals


Team fees and registration

Registration for teams is open. Final deadline is September 15th at 8:00pm (pst).Early entry deadline is Sept7th 8:00pm (pst)

All entry fees are due in full at the time of registration, or your entry will be considered null and void. Please go to the registration page HERE to enter your team. All teams must register online, no emails, no phone calls!

The maximum amount of teams we can accept for this event will be 30, Registration is on a first come first serve basis, if you miss the deadlines or no spots remain, exceptions will not be given.

Remember fees are due in full at time of registration! If you have a certificate from 2009, you still must provide a $200 deposit. Please read instructions on event registration link.

There will be lower entry fees for teams registering before Sept 7th……. All registrations are time stamped. All teams MUST register online…..no exceptions.

Pump division $200.00.
Division 4/Apprentice 5man $100.00
Division 3/Rookie 5man: $450.00
Division 2/novice 7man: $550.00
Division 1/Amateur 7man: $750.00

Within one week of registration closing…(early deadline Sept 7th 8pm pst) All registrations are time stamped. All teams MUST register online…..no exceptions. . Final deadline is Sept 15th (pst).

Pump division $250.00.
Division 4/Apprentice 5man $150.00
Division 3/Rookie 5man: $550.00
Division 2/novice 7man: $650.00
Division 1/Amateur 7man: $850.00

VIP Staging

Because of the limited space for staging, and the waits between games, we have pleased to offer all teams (of means) a private, luxury staging option. The cost will be $250.00 per team,for the weekend, and there will be 6 such spots available. This option includes:

-10x20 private, walled area for the whole weekend! (cannot share)
- two 4x6 tables
- free assorted drinks
- unobstructed field view
- 2 free pit passes for staff ($20.00 value)
- Early access to online webcast footage.
- VIP only air table
- VIP only chrono range

We will have a dedicated full time person looking after our VIP area.

Remember there is only 4 of these spots available……

VIP option is available on the main team registration page by selecting “YES” to VIP.


Host Hotel

The official host hotel for 2009 BCPPL events is the Sandman Hotel chain. The Sandman in Langley is offering the best rates/best value around for player's attending E3. This hotel is located off Hwy #1 at the 200th street exit. As with the tournament location, there is tons of restraunts, and other services within walking distance. The hotel itself is 10-15 minutes from Ambush Paintball.

This hotel group has been a proud supporter of BC paintball the past few years. We strongly encourage all teams to support them.

Trade Show


There will be a trade show at Event #3. The vendors will have the basics needed by teams at any event...and some of the hot new 09/10 products too.


LIVE free video webcast

A live video webcast will run all weekend,starting at approx 11:00am each day. This is a free service for family, friends and fans, easily viewable anywhere in the world.

Danny Miller and his witty word play will be back as host…always entertaining!

if you haven't done a bccpl, i'll let you know... They're a ton of fun and very professionally done. Webcams, brand new bunkers, unbelievable field and awesome refs and staff.
