I just picked up a mini and noticed a tremendous amount of side-to-side play. It's as if the bearing is too big for the trigger pin, or the bearing is of loose tolerances.

Which triggers have worked for you to eliminate this sloppiness? I was thinking of using thin shims on the trigger pin between both sides of the trigger and trigger frame.

For aftermarket options, the violent series trigger seems cool due to the ability to change the magnetic return strength.

First, there is no bearing in the stock trigger.

Second, there are many triggers out there. I recommend the TBO trigger which can be found at his site that I can't remember at the moment.. If you search for THEBETTERONE, it should be in his sig. I haven't used the Violent trigger, but have had good success with their triggers on other guns.

I'd like to see both opinions on WHY one trigger is better than others. Surely therE must be a reason beyond brand loyalty. Has anyone tried both the TBO and violent series triggers? Between the the two, there seems to be very little difference aside from the adjustable return force on the violent. All else being equal, that would make it the better of the two, right? Both are the same material and both use bearings. The TBO seems to get points for having a choice of shapes, but for me it doesn't matter much since the standard shape is the one I prefer anyway.

Alot of people stand by TBo, I have one myself because people swore it was the [edit for filter]! But as soon as I put it on it still had side to side play, just not as much as the stock trigger.. Another thing I expirience is excessive trigger bounce.. Check out the CP trigger, a buddy of mine has it on his mini, I gotta say it is alot cleaner compared to tbo (little to no slop), it's just that it has a spring return as oppose to magnet.. It's all preference..

have owned TBO, CP and Issani triggers... CP was the best

i just got the critical trigger and it has zero slop and is very very crisp.
