Problem with Mini and Rotor hopper
I have a virtued mini, only 3 months old, bought off someone that only used it once, shoots fine, looks good etc. Except when I put the Dye rotor hopper on it, it will shoot 5-6 balls and then the hopper will jam. I take the hopper off full of paint and then turn it on and it runs through without a problem, so the problem is something when it is attached to the gun. Anyone have a similar problem or know of a solution?

There is no way to slow the speed of the rotor. When you get the jam, how fat are you shooting? Is it semi, ramping, or full auto?

It has happened in auto/semi auto, when I start shooting fast is when it happens, I think it may be some sort of blowback and it probably just needs to be broken in, but I wanted to know if this has happened to anyone else, or if their is other suggestions

It could be blow by, however many rotors do have a problem with jamming. I would suggest doing the two ball blow by test and going from there. If you do not have blow by, I would say that you should try some different paint when shooting next time.
What kind of paint were you using when it happened? How old was it?

Check the front bumper/oring on your bolt, it kinds of sounds like it might be catching and not allowing the bolt to go back all of the way.
You should also check your spring to make sure that it is on the right way, it should click when you put it down on the bolt.

Had this problem sat. It was the batteries in the rotor. I changed them and all was good. For some reason when they get low it jams up, but I've never had any other prolems with it.

The paint I as using was either pmi or rps sold at a near by paintball shop. I went to walmart and got a box of recon 1000 paintball to break in my spring and I didn't have a single problem with the rotor and the gun shot phenomenlly in every mode that I tried. Thanks for the help let's hope this is the last problem I'll have.
