That's funny, I was on pbreview last night and saw it as well and I surely couldn't remember ever hearing anything about them. Anyone have any info? Paging Mr. Rice.

That sucks. I was going to look for one. Would you happen to know why they weren't released? Just a horrible system or no interest?

I don't remember why but I just know they never made it past the prototype stage.

We shot the gun - a prototype for a whole season - worked very well -made a change right before we made the guns for release - and they clipped the stacked ball and broke some - not a lot, but too many to sell the guns - I have sold a few with the understanding that they are for demo or shooting Reballs only - some just wanted to have one. Too much trouble to put one together so I don't sell them anymore

Wanting until I have enough money to make them, again, I have redesigned the gun - a lot - because it's been about 5 years.

Every 12 to 18 months someone will ask about them

as the alien name got bigger, more ppl would be googling for it on the net & more ppl would be asking abt it... maybe should put some info regarding the revelation on the website... just a thot tho...

His is a froward sliding mechanical
Mine is a cam driven, slide pivoting electro
The only similarity is they seal over the top insead of with a bolt.
IMO his gun would have worked better with a bolt

He wrote me telling me that, in his opinion it did.
As I "understand his logic" he has the word boltless in his patent, therefore, any method of sealing the chamber other than sliding a round bolt into a round bore is covered as "Boltless". Negative claims are not allowed "all paintball guns except those that have been patented" would be as quickly disallowed as "all guns without bolts"
So I showed you how different my gun was from his.
However almost anyone can sue anyone under a patent claim and until it's looked at in court no one can say with absolute certainty who is right. Even something that looks this obvious.

AND remember- Indian Creek, AKA and Angel said Smart Parts patent wasn't valid, but neither AKA nor Indian Creek could afford to fight them. Angel (after spending what I was told by the Angel rep who wanted to license me the rights to electros was $3 million dollars - bought the right to half the patent from the original holder) settled and (again I'm told) shares the patent. so no one really know on that

funny thing about that trap door deal is that he added a fin that pushed the ball forward into the barrel like a normal bolt would do. So it became a finned trap door boltless "closed bolt" setup. May as well put a bolt in it.
