usually it is the feedneck needs to be sanded down or the top oring inthe feedneck needs to be removed

you could do what he said or you sand around the hopper or you could go spend 30 bucks and buy a clamping feedneck

this happens alot with the crappy stock feednecks on ions. removing the top o-ring i find tends to be the most effective.

dont need to remove o-ring, because once u remove it your hopper will be lose.. I have eggy 3 and i used it with stock. Put the hopper on the feedneck, and rotate clockwise. and counter-clockwise to take it out.. the feedneck stinks.. get your self warrior feedneck for $17.

Yes, sometimes removing one or more of the orings helps. I strongly recommned buying a clamping feedneck.

If you continue to rotate/screw it in and out like above, the stock feedneck will eventually come out as you will have broken the locktite seal. You will then run into the problem of crossthreading or extreme wear on the threads of the breach and you will need buy another.

I just sanded down the feedtube on my hopper and took out the first o-ring on the feedneck.

it is less than 1/8" higher than stock....I guess if you really wanted to you can take a little more off the top, say a 1/4". whats good is the seat post clamp has a lip on it and prevents the clamp from sliding down.
