Hi guys, new to the place. I recently purchased a Mini. I bought a brand new box of Weapons Grade paint from my local PB store, which was a week old at the most and dumped it into my hopper to try out my new gun. I started firing in PSP and all was going great but then it would stop suddenly. I looked at the light and it was flashing slowly indicating that there was no ball in the breech. However, I pulled out the loader slowly and saw there was a stack of balls in there and still nothing was being detected. I turned the gun off and on and it worked for a little then started stopping in the middle of fire. I had half a bag of Toxic (green shell like the weapons grade) and about half a pod of Heat (yellow shell) still with me so i tried that out and everything worked perfectly with no missed balls. I took it down to the shop I got it from and let them take a look. They were able to recreate the problem with Weapons Grade paint and clear balls, but everything else was fine. The guy said he had seen this before in a few other Minis. So I come to you guys to ask if you've ever heard of this and if you have any suggestions.
It's not a colossal issue, but it's still kind of annoying since it seems like such a specific problem coming from my brand new gun. Thanks.
It sounds like it is because of the shell color. I have heard of minis doing that before with dark shelled paint. Since you didn't have any problem with the light shell colored paint, I would stick to light shells until you run into a problem.
