So im going to chill with this girl from work and her friends
Only problem is her and her friends are 2+ years older than me
Im kinda a quiet/shy guy, any advice?

Im bored...And Im officially the most broke I have been since I was 10..I got in a fight with my parents last night and they took away my macbook......Mind you I paid half,other was theirs and gma money (early bday present ). So I went to the bank pulled out another 500 and threw it at em and said to never touch my computer again...
I dont even get the ipod touch that came with it lol..Whatever thats their early xmas birthday girt for 2 years.

yup,it really does.But whatever.I got tired of th threats that they are going to take it away and **** like that..Thats all they would say now.So you know what,**** them. My friend said "Ig you want **** to not be touched,own it"...And as of now this is paid 100% by me..IN FACT they made like 100 bucks cuz my gma paid for some of it.So yea.They came out winning big time..And Im just going to tell them to buy me food for my birthday that way they cant take it back or threaten me to take it away when we fight.

That's good advice. Pretend they are already your friends and they are your age. Whatever state of mind you can acheive to help you become comfortable will help. One thing I started to do when I was "coming out of my shell" over the years is... I would simply admit I was shy and they would think it was funny and help me out.

This actually really can help (bringing a friend). It allows you to be more yourself because he's around. Plus, it won't be so awkward (balances out the girl:boy ratio) and it will be more fun. But like stray said, keep your attention on your girl. Just have fun  |
