I put an SP 360 qev on an out of the box ion, as well as replaced the body with a dti4 body, and stock bottomline etc (right out of the box) and I tried to set the dwell to stock settings using the guide in the stickies, and what happens is when I turn off eyes and fire I get one regular shot, and then have to wait because the next few shots are just the button clicking, and maybe a weak shot.

new battery, reg turned up, and I reset. I think I found the issue. I just took it aprt, re-screwed in the qev and now there's an audible hiss coming from in the gun, and the shots are back to back, just weak (I'm guessing because of the loss of air pressure

So what am I doing wrong with the qev? Should i put the banjo fitting back on? Is the qev the issue? Or the fact that I changed the body (which means changing out the rear banjo fitting as well - see here

Ok just tightened the qev, and i dont hear a hiss, but same as before, I get like 1 out of 4 shots actually pressurized

Honestly, try another new battery. Ions are more picky about batteries than my wife is about hair in the sink after I shave.
