Take your ion with the hopper off air it up. MAKE SURE NOT TO HAVE YOUR ION ON INCASE OF MISFIRE!!! Look down the feedneck at the bolt and check to see if you can see any of the bolt sticking out from behind feedneck. When you straight down you should only see maybe a 1/16" of the bolt and that's it. If there's more then there is definitely an issue with the bolt and not your paint or hopper. (Sometimes paint gets ovaled or some people with clamping feedneck clamp them on to hard which presses the hopper halfs togther and bends it so balls can't get through)
For your bolt make sure the stop is so the bevelled side is facing the back of the can. Really there isn't anything else it could be unless the bolt is simply made too long which is very doubtful

If it comes down to an ordering issue or something with the bolt itself being machined incorrectly, then we won't be much help here unfortunately

wouldn't matter if you screw in the front piece to the back can it pushes it down... if its an xe bolt stop its too small to fit into the can snuggly take your stock one and compare it to the l7 bolt stop if there the same in diameter its not a issue if its smaller then you have the xe bolt stop and that is a problem

I know this sounds odd, but I have found that sometimes when you get any debris in the threading or behind the bolt stop it can affect the tolerances.
I play alot of woodsball and have found this issue out the hard way.
Ions are not forgiving in the woods.
If I were you, I would try backing the firing chamber up by unscrewing it just enough that the bolt stops further back.
It wont leak if you just back it out a little. I have done this.
