Oregon State University Paintball (OSU students look here!)

This thread is for the purpose of giving OSU students a place to communicate about upcoming school paintball events, team events, tournaments, and more.

Coming into the 2009-2010 school year, I hope to put together a dedicated OSU NCPA team, or at least a steady following to support local fields and shops.

If you're a student looking for other people to play with, someone visiting the school looking for student opinions, or anything related to OSU and paintball, feel free to post it here!

If you have any questions/comments, I'm always available for PMing.

Well I'm hoping to play out at AOP, and sponsorship is probably something I'd tackle later on.

Hey man i will be a freshman at OSU.

Really interested in putting a NCPA team together for the collage tournament that is on fox every year.

I think AOP would be the best place to organize a team and would also be a good place to practice since it is the closest filed to the school.

I willing to put a lot of effort into getting a team together and organized to play.

You going to be a freshman too?

Doh, sorry I didn't respond earlier. I'd like to put together an NCPA team, but it takes a bit of commitment and we'll see what we have to work with when I get to school.

It appears to be coincidence that you ALSO happen to want to start an OSU Paintball Club this year! I have already applied and taken all the necessary processes to get this thing through...we are looking to have a 4-5k budget next year...all school funded. My ultimate goal in this is to put an SPPL team together. We already have a group of 7 so far. Hopefully we can join forces and lead this brigade to glory! HUA!!!

Hey guys, I responded to the original OSU team thread about a year ago and wanted to talk to someone with some information about the team. Last year I got together a 10 man group for the NCPA down at Arizona State and I am thinking of starting up playing again but looking for a group of guys so maybe I can help you guys out.

^^^ from what i know there is nothing set up at osu for ncpa. if you want to come ball head out to aop on the weekend

Hey all,

Sorry I haven't responded in awhile. This thread hasn't shown up on my "New Responses" list for some reason :/

As of right now, there is no NCPA team. I'm in communication with another student who has set up a paintball club of some type but I'm trying to figure out if and how we can work together. As it is, do as topcat says and come out to AOP (Albany Outdoor Paintball) on Sat/Sun if you want some practice or to meet up.

Hey Beaver Nation!

If you guys have a group together down there, you all should think about coming to play Supergame the last weekend in April, first weekend of May.

If you do, join the Red Army and your fellow OSU Alumni. It's over a 1000 players and a weekend long game with night missions.

Lastly, someone go have a beer for me at Clauds!

There will be alums on both sides of SG39. You're more than welcome to join myself and other alums on the Yellow Army. Either way hope to see you all there. It's great to see this happening at OSU!
