With the type of valve your using, I think battery operation would be the best way to go because it opens extremley fast and you have the added aesthetic benefit of not having pnuematic tubes hanging out all over the place.

im using a rainbird 3/4 straight electric sprinkler valve. i modded it to be pnuematic. if i was to use the electrice solenoid. it will open very slow. cuz that is how its designed. unless you know of a small electric valve i cound use.

update

after countless testing, researching, trial and error. I found the simplest and cheapest trigger valve to use. i modified a standard shop air gun to fit inside my trigger frame. this is what i did

i removed the trigger handle
tapped trigger button to allow a bolt to be threaded into for trigger adjustment
cut off exhaust side for clearance

i also used 3/8 polyethlene hose and quick disconnect fitting that can be found at THE HOME DEPOT.

will get more pics up soon.

dude i dont really have any directions. it was rather difficult to build due have to make nearly everything from scratch. such as the holding tank, valve assembly, breach, breech loader, barrel, check out some more pics i just added i streamlined the trigger valve hose and made it internal. check it.

I'm a big fan of break barrel launchers and this one is especially nice. Cantou give some more detail on how the breech operates, such as how do you make it seal and lock/unlock?
