the last time i was at the field with my phantom, almost every shot rolled out of my barrel, even if it was only slightly tilted down. is there anything i can do to the gun in order to prevent this? do you think the bore size on the paint was just smaller? would a barrel kit with a smaller bore size help stop this?

Barrel kit would work well but there is detent ring's you can buy for your Phantom. Check Wevo Paintball's web site.

You can have your barrel bored for Freak inserts.


You can put some nail polish at the proximal end of the barrel... the barrel closest to the breach and bolt.

You can put some electrical / duct tap at the same end.

You can get CCI detent rings.

Or you can just point your barrel up / not pump until needed

detent rings are the best options. their only $6 from CCI. otherwise nail polish seems to be popular fix. Rollouts is just a reality in the pump world unless you have a barrel kit.

i just saw on air soldier you can get your phantom body milled for two tiny o ring detents. one prevents roll outs and the other prevents double feeds. i might order a new vert feed body and have this done.
