I have a 99' right feed sniper and a center feed SM1. For a while a loved my right feed and was convinced that i wouldnt switch from it. But then i bought my SM1 and liked it as well, so i sold my 2k rf (i didnt like it as much as my 99 rf).
In the end, i guess it just come down to what i am feeling that day...

My RF is fun, but heavy.
Functionally a VF is better, but the RF is just so much fun to play with.

I love my 99! It was my first open class sniper after playing stock class for well over a year. Then I got another sniper that I love more. But I will refuse to sell my 99 even though it is a brick. I just loan it out since its my only other open class pump. All in all right feeds are the the ****!

I actually have a post 2k RF.
Which is kind of weird since most LF/RFs are pre 99.

I love my '98 rf! It shoots really nice and being able to sight right down the barrel is fun.

I use a 97 RF Gen-x pump and i love it. I don't see the practical point in running VF since i've never out pumped my RF sniper feed.

Keep the pump hand strong

I have a hard time switching back to right feed anymore, even for long-range shots.

what if you were left handed? then the hopper and elbow would be out of the way and you'd get hit in the head instead.
OR
use a left feed if you're right handed and still get hit in the head.

I agree. I played with a VF during the school year, and the first time i went back to my RF it was very awkward. I felt like i had no aim that day. There was one point when i was playing speedball, and i had a clear shot on someone that had no idea i was there (and i was only about 30 feet away), so i took my time to aim, but i ended up missing him by about 3 feet. I felt pretty bad after missing that shot...

It's funny too because I shot right feed guns for literally years beforehand. I didn't switch to centerfeed unless I didn't have the option.
