lol no, that's why they're called professionals...

If you're a "pro" at anything...it USUALLY means you're getting paid for it.

They do, but not very much.

Most pro's have a second job.

Most of them have jobs within there sponsered company. But most do other jobs. You dont get paid enough to make a living in Paintball.

Most pro's (and by pro's I mean real pro paintball players, the very top level), get paid NOTHING to actually play, they get paid for the 'rest of their job'.

They instead get to play almost free for national events (travel, paint, everything paid for)...

THEN, their sponsors have them do work for them in the off time for tournaments, runningclinics, working at their warehouses, promoting their brands, all sorts of things. THIS work they get paid for.

All in all you can make a living being a pro, but it's not a big pay day and it's a full time job between work for the company, training, and then playing (in that order of number of hours).

Of course every team and person has a different deal and there are no 'rules' for this. But I would guess the number of people who get paid good money JUST to show up and play... and do nothing else... is a handful or less... and maybe no one.

^^ many pros do get paid to play
They work for the companies that sponsor their teams, and part of that "work" involves playing paintball.

only pros i can think of who are making decent money 4 sure are matty marshall (with all his commentating, endorsements, etc.) and ollie lang (sheer power of marketing deals).

the problem with paintball is its not as easy to televise as other extreme sports, i.e. its not a spectator sport and so PB companies have lots less cash than, say, quiksilver or Fox...

Most pro's have other jobs, within there teams sponsor companies. There are a few pros that make there living completely off of playing paintball. The biggest ones are RL(Russian Legoin), and a few others like Yosh Rau(I believe).

Russian legion gets payed to play ( about the only FULL team that does) they work ou at the gym and their training field 5 days a week they are the wolds first paintball playing JOB if you will. Other than that? Maybe individuals bu not really full teams get payed enough not to have another job.

Russian Legion FTW! haha...yea I believe that some of the MVP's will have some pay (like endorsing products). But I presume most "Pro" players do not get a well enough salary to support their lives.

PLEASE STOP USING DUBSTEP IN ANY AND ALL PAINTBALL VIDEOS CAUSE REALLY ITS JUST HARD TO WATCH WITH THAT UNINTELLIGIBLE GARBAGE PLAYING.

On average NPPL and semi players can satisfy their girlfriends and wives much better than PSP and ramping players :)
