Ok so i'm kinda new to this I recently got a Karni Pump and i would like to take off the spring that the previous owner had on the gun. now how would i get off the whole front part and not damage the IVG or anything on the backblock because i'm not sure how to get the cocking rod off without using pliers on it and scratching it all up which i really don't want to do. some advice would be helpful and i will post pics when i get the chance to!

yeah... i think that's about it. needle nose pliers or something... or a very small hex wrench.

i use the smallest adjustable wrench i found. gives a more positive hold on the small area minimizing any slippage

why dont you use chanel locks or plies but wrap them with tape
