Air vs 12G

Which one would save more money? I already have an air tank.
Was wondering to make my gun a stock class or open class

Thanks

in the long run.. your air tank. 12g cannot be refilled, so in the long run, you'll have to keep buying 12g and the money builds up. if you already have an air tank, just keep it as open, or even modified stock class (10 rnd tube with air tank source).. i use that on my buzzard usually, just cause i'm too lazy sometimes to take my 12g out...

here's some numbers
I pay $14.00 for 25 12 grams
55 cents per 12 gram
8 12 grams cost $5.00
that's equal to 3.38 ounces of co2
To fill my 3.5 ounce tank is $3.00
What it boils down to is 12 grams will cost you more unless you buy in bulk than having your 3.5 ounce tank filled.
I get good deals on 12 grams and the price I was using is Walmarts current rate.
I like using 12 grams just tooo use them !!!

Usually there is an air fill fee though.

I don't pay for the air fill fee since I play with 12g, and I use maybe 8-9 max all day of a 15 count box.

So:
.55 x 9 = 4.95

Equals out to about the same as the 5 dollar fee, so I'm not saving anything. Yet, I still use them because it's fun.

I would rather simply eliminate the extra trouble of reloading anyway. Some of the locals are rabid enough to shoot me when they can, I don't really need to give them anything extra.
