Try another battery before doing anything.
Seriously, duds happen all the time.

Did you put any mods in since the last use? When was the last time you cleaned/lubed it?

Did you try another battery?
Or are you just going to ignore the possibility of a bad battery?
Start with the easy things first. If that doesn't work, then ask for more help.
There's no sense in not trying another battery and possibly wasting everyone's time when it could be fine.

I don't have time to go all the way back to the store and buy another 1, so what do you suggest I do and I haven't lubbed it

i suggest that you 1) buy a new battery. 2) lube your ion. and finally 3) check your asa, air hose, and reg.
do those in order, because the lower the number, the easier to fix.

Why wouldn't you lube it before asking for help if you know you haven't lubed it?
Could be the battery, could be massive amounts of bolt stick.

Go to this website and follow the directions for cleaning/lubing the bolt: http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/ion...olt_stock.html (Make sure you use a Dow 33 grease lubricant such as Sl33k (smart parts brand lubricant), don't use gun oil or household oil, it will mess your gun up).
If that doesn't help, take the time to purchase a package of 9V batteries at the store, and put one in the gun. If that doesn't help, try performing regulator maintenance as can be found here: http://www.zdspb.com/tech/mguide/regs/main_ionreg.html
Ensure that your regulator is set to the right pressure, it should be between 150 - 180, but anywhere near there would be ok. If not adjust it with the wrench given to you in the tool kit. If that doesn't help it's probably a solenoid/board problem, in which case you should take it to your local shop.

batteries account for 80% if not more ion problems. it would be stupid to ignore the fact that you may have a bad battery, it happens.
and you never answered the question posed by Lacerate, what have you changed on your ion since it last worked right???

If its not your battery, look at your gauge. check to see that your input pressure is high enough. it should be between 160-200 psi depending on what upgrades you have. If your reg got changes, make small adjustments dry firing about 3 shots after each adjustment until your gun cycles properly. then at the field you will be able to fine tune it with the chrono...unless you have one of your own.

Don't ask for help if you don't want to hear the answer. It's the battery. If It worked before and doesn't work now... and you didn't change anything... well that's just common sense.
