i bought a western digital mybook 1tb external hdd the other day just to dump movies and music on. the day i got it i reformatted it to ntfs. i use my old windows xp machine to download movies and then transfer them onto the hard drive for later viewing with my macbook.
thing is, i want to use this hard drive for my 360 (the 20 gigs just isn't enough). so my question to you guys is what format should this hard drive be in for it to be 1) recognized and useable by my 360 as an extra storage device, 2) can put media on it from a windows machine, 3) view files on the hard drive with my macbook.
ive heard apples hsf+ works well with the 360 so that would cover the macbook and 360 needs but would it work with windows?
i know its a confusing question but any help is greatly appreciated
