Impossible Question On Dropping (HELP)
ok well i took my gun to the shop and he set the dwell and everthing right. now i have bad and i mean bad drop off. it wont let me move the trigger fast and if i do the balls just start dropping out of the barrel and when i just push the trigger slowly, it fires normally?? well i got my ion way back a year ago and i still haven't been able to use it because so much problems. and i have a game saturday and i dont think ill be playen because i need to walk the trigger and if i try to balls just roll out of the barrel. so what would be wrong? my shop adjusted the settings on the board several times and everything and it still does the same thing. i even had my reg shipped to cp and they put brand new parts into it and it still does it. the ups on the gun are: scorpian frame, virtue redifined board, firebolt, cp on/off asa, sling blade trigger, lucky unitech barrel, cp feedneck , hybrid grips, ez on/off. and im probably forgeten some. so the main question is why does my paintballs keep dropping out of the barrel when i start shooting fast and when i shoot slow it shoots normal? help because i have a game and i kinda dont want to miss it.

So what is the "right" dwell you have? And have you changed the batteries?

you say the reg was sent back to cp the tank reg or the inline reg???
more then likely your tank reg could be bad or i can be as simple as the battery is going dead...

no its a high pressure tank, and he did put a new battery in it. and its a inline reg. if you guys figure this out you wont no how much better i will feel. and about the dwell im pretty sure he set it at 30 because he said thats what the factory recommended. and on the high pressure tank we was testing it, the needle was bent to the side on the reg of the tank.

So what board are you using now if your selling tour redefined? You could also try to get virtue to fix the board, you'll prob have to pay shipping. And why did you trade your lucky board??? Those where said to be pretty good expecially if you had the mac noid w/it.

i wasnt thinking and my shop said it was leaking out the solnoid and was bad so i sold it and the guy put a oring in it and it was good as new and sold it for 160 bucks. i was mad at the shop but he went out of business. and im using my stock board now. i dont think they will fix the virtue because it has a little hole from the idiot before me which got my lucky board because he screwed the screw to far into the grips and it went into the cylinder a little bit. and thanks for all your help shadow. i appreciate it.

Don't sell it. Send it back to Virtue, they will replace it for free.

Replace the hose. Cutting is easy, lay on a flat surface and use a razor blade/knife to make the cut. Hose kits are cheap.

???? If this was an insult to the op then learn propper gramer
but anyways
leaking hose could be caused by
a. a crookedly cut hose
b. it just may be old and over time+usage/presssure
c. It may ave been pulled out some from the banjo
d. Banjo is bad (not very likely)
solution-v

you could just replace it for peace of mind so you know it's new, or if you have enough hose re-cut it strait.

i suggest check the noid oring it could be busted and you might need to change it. 2nd thing might want to check the hose for leak... 3rd thing.. you can send it back for repair.

"also i couldnt get it to go above 140psi or it would start a slight leak. "
*edit* After writing all of that I saw this. You probably have a bad o ring/hose somewhere.
Cheater13, I have built guns with capactitors that have been damaged and have been sold guns with caps that have been damaged. They still work, etc, etc, etc. I even had one that did not have it's outer casing. It worked, but I replaced the cap since that's obviously shoddy. I tested the board I traded you in my OWN PERSONAL MARKER before I shipped it to you.
As you stated, you're not that much of a tech and you had your shop work on it.
Now some questions:
When you tried to use the virtue board, did the solenoid fully cycle; or did it sound odd (compare with your stock?) That would be an issue with the cap.
Were you able to get the bolt to fully cycle with the virtue board? Did you clean out the solenoid and the head assembly? What about the hoses; did you change those or see if they were dirty/old/etc?
In regards to your current issue (most current):
You might want to dbl check and make sure it's not leaking. Try moving the body around a bit. Typically it's the hose going from the solenoid to the back banjo. Otherwise, possibly a banjo o ring or as another guy here said; the solenoid barb's o ring.
What do you mean the balls don't fly straight :/
Are you using ****ty/old paint?
Now, It's entirely up to you;
If you would like me to take a look at the board and see if my hunch is correct, I'd be more then willing to. I know how it feels when you get ****ed here and you go out to play and your like
Ps. :p Spell check is your friend
