I tried these and it leaked around the macroline a some, but it does work

Some of my macroline leaked and others didnt. I guess some are just a bit wider than others.

Just bought a real tester on Saturday.

Nice find, no reason to pay 30 for a piece of plastic with a gauge on it.

Another guy did this a while back... but cut a groove into the thicker macro hose to fit a ram o-ring on there... would solve the leak issues the Gamer had.

the first macro i used leaked it had a larger ID ...( inside diameter ) then i got another macro thats the * heavy duty or has smaller ID and it didn't leak.

Sorry to bring up an old thread. I just made one of these and worked great. First macro line was pretty loose and leaked. Second one was extremely tight, but it worked perfect with no leaks. I could only push it in maybe 3mm.

Just to add to the mod. Get the thick macro line dremel a grove into it to hold a ram oring. This DIY really works good job.

I didn't need the o-ring. worked perfect without it. The thick macro is a really tight fit and surprisingly didn't leak at all.

I found a $10 gauge thats on ebay but I dont know which coupler to buy..

juit made one of these a couple yrs ago for Gen2,3,5, but added a o-ring to the macroline to keep it from leaking.
