Turning phantom to VSC

I just picked up a blue anno phantom never used for $60, and I want to start playing VSC. What all do I need to buy to make it stock class? I saw on CCI's website that they have the tube, but will the tube be all I need to buy? I don't see how it will fit on without an elbow, but maybe I'm wrong

well, do you have a left/right feed body? for the record what phantom do you have? picture? model? saying you have a phantom is like saying "i own a car, now what motor do i need?"

well there are a million cars, and about 20 different stock phantom setups. is it bone stock left/right fed with a backbottle tank adapter?

if so, you need a new body, a breach, and then the actual metal tube.

if you want VSC, you need to buy the kit or parts (VA, hardline, fittings, and rear peice).

all in all it wil be exensive, which is why people buy stock class to start with, if i had to estimate:

body 40
breech 15
tube 15
and probaby for VSC kit like 60 bucks

if you just want stoc class any way you can get? get a body, breech tube and a 12 gram changer that you would just screw in the rear of thegun where the tank goes.

I think it's pretty obvious that he just needs the Stock class body and Feed block. After that, the tube, collar and air options are totally up to the buyer.

well he did say VSC.

big and rich: VSC is a term for vertical stock class, refering to a top model (most expensive) from CCI that is fully stock class. however it hs features that are unessesary if you just want a stick feed.

by "stock class" you mean plaing with 10 rds? well thats different. with a phantom you can have almost ay setup. youcan have 10 rd/15 rd feed, or a feed with a 12 gram changer, OR do the full VSC, which is everything i listed.

if you play around on CCI or wevo paintball or white wolf airsmithing you can see most of the options available, but all combination are literally endless with a phantom.

note: if your using a stick feed AND you have a rear bottle adapter, well a big co2 tank back there might not fit with the stick feed hanging out on the gun. it might be nessesary to use a 12 gram changer if you have back bottle.

if you are running a co2 tank back there it might be nessesary to use a smaller stick feed, or perhas even cut it down. then you still have to think about laoding the 10 rd tube without interferance from the co2 bottle. just points to think about.

oh well thats good. yes. you need a stock class body, the plastic breech peice, and then the actual tube itself 10/15 rds (im pretty sure they come with the end cap and ball retainer, but i would check up on that).

generally a stock class feed tube itself has a tube, a delrin end cap, and a rubber detent that holds the balls in. again im sure with the 15 bucks you pay it might be included. i forget, i havent bought that knd of stuff in a while. it might be worth shooting cci an e mail.

I didn't read through all these posts but I think if you just put a stick feed in vertically or in an elbow it will still be considered stock-class.

Not easily, but that's what 3/4 PVC elbows are for.
