no, I seriously refuse to believe it. There is absolutely no way someone tried to pull the "my father's brother's friend showed me secret government documents but I'm not allowed to show you" after like, 6th grade. And definitely not after the invention of the ****ing internet.

Also, I don't understand the need for the incredible stretches of fantastic imagination. The government freely admits/tells everyone they have wanted for years to train dolphins and sea lions and **** for security measures, including having them essentially handcuff the feet of any diver they come across and have them pulled up to a surveillance boat. Isn't that incredible enough? Why does it have to be some kind of crazy conspiracy involving dolphins with freaking poison darts attached to their freaking heads? It makes no sense.

Even all the people directly involved with Roswell that say it was an extraterrestrial craft, including the author of the newspaper originally saying they found a saucer and later admitting that he saw it and it was extraterrestrial?

The fact of it is this. They saw something they had never seen before. It could have been a crashed experimental aircraft being developed by the U.S. or another foreign country. To blatantly say it was extra terrestrial is stupid.

The only way an experimental craft shaped as a saucer could be from Earth, is if they reverse-engineered a crashed extraterrestrial saucer (Roswell). Maybe if you were there you wouldn't think it was stupid to label it extraterrestrial. After all, you have no idea what it looked like.

Because the people who claimed it was extraterrestrial, weren't involved with the government so they would have no reason to lie about that. You're telling me random people wanted to cover-up for the government? Yeah right.

explain how these people would know what something "extraterrestrial" would look like. Were they previously familiar with the current "cutting edge" of human technology, or perhaps they had already encountered extraterrestrial objects and knew how to identify them?

Mitchell was an astronaut on the Apollo 14 mission to the moon in 1971 and he spoke at the National Press Club after the fifth annual X-Conference, an event focused on research involving UFOs.

CNN reported that Mitchell told journalists that there is firm knowledge that extraterrestrial life exists and this information is being held back from the general public in the U.S. and internationally.

Mitchell was raised in Roswell and knew many of the townspeople there. He said they confided to him years later about what they knew, although they had been told to keep the information quiet.

but you're saying they did know: an extraterrestrial object. All your links say is they jumped to conclusions. There's a wide swath between not knowing what something is and labeling it alien.

also, a bit of an anachronism, but they wouldn't have used the term "flying saucer" in 1947 either.

The term "flying saucer" was used because that's what was seen by the witnesses, including the guy who wrote that newspaper.

The words of the witnesses are that they saw a craft not of this planet. That includes some of the ranchers, firefighter, the newspaper writer, and others.

They didn't use "UFO" because that means unidentified flying object, and the object most certainly was not unidentified, because the witnesses saw the damn thing and knew it was extraterrestrial.

This was in 1947. The only aircraft they had seen in their lives were planes. This could have been an experimental aircraft for all they know, and for all we know.
