I am a changed man from these planning sessions.

Another quick hit

To anyone who did not recall the other Phantom challenge, or for folks who read this----- from 11:00 - 2:00 the flag stations rotated.

So out on the beach, the Monastery became the hospital, became the shake shack, etc. at certain times.

The other three flag poles did as well. Thank you Wülfpak -- Kim, Brian, Bill, Dino, Justine and team leader Karl for putting up with me and manning them during this!

So that advanced mission regarding district mayors having to visit all four areas....they had to discover where they would all be before time ran out.

THAT is where the paranormal psychologists come in....the first few documents they can pick up at the library outlined a flag station each so you can anticipate the upcoming locations for half of them.

Then through paintball battles and taking the field, you can obtain ground and information regarding the other half.

Both sides paranormal psychs enjoyed doing it it seemed. Nice balance of field control and role-play these rotations offered for this unique challenge.

The flag rotation stopping?
There was a 1:00 mission and the first team who accomplished it by 1:45 could decide which flag station would be placed from 2:00 - 4:30. With flag poles being worth 1, 2, 2 and 3 points, this could be crucial.

Both sides aggressively pursued this objective, each obtaining half of what was needed. They could not get their missing half from each other. Hence when the mission ended, the flags returned to their rightful spots.

Thank you players, WülfPak, staff, refs, Tigress and Meph for joining us in a unique experience and braving the weather.

More later.

I was running out of excuses as to why locations were not where they were supposed to be ....

Uuh, Well I'll mention it to jpazz but the game already started so im not sure he's gonna care much..

He may have been drinking when he layed out the map ..

He may be drinking now...

You're looking at the map wrong..you're here and gotta go this way (pointing in the wrong direction..

there was one person who you could tell was really thrown off when they asked about the map when I simply stated.. you cant find that stuff because you're just having a bad dream and walked off..I think I may have been shot at for that one

You have a fake map.. you need to go find frenchie/jpazz (it changed from time time to time) to get the real one.secret password is will you marry me,and you have to do it on one knee.. (i dont think anyone was dumb enough to try that one but it would have been funny.

A letter from the Northside General:

I would like to thank everyone who attended this one of a kind game. To everyone that stayed true to what paintball is really about; I thank you!

You are the ones that despite the weather, game challenges set forth, command requests, and unknown opposition, stood shoulder to shoulder and finished the job. Hooah!

To all of our friends of paintball, we don't get to shoot together enough.

To Skirmishaul, Terry, Cleo, reffing staff, and registration crew; thank you for giving us players a forum to play! Your field is one of a kind!

Jpazz and Arh: Its always great to be a part of something where not only the heart of paintball reigns true, but where genuine friendships develop through common understanding!

Ladies and Gentlemen: Phantom Panic gave the paintball community an opportunity to experience something truly unique not only by the games complex design, but by the process of change within the men and women that I saw battle throughout the day.

G-Force presented a game that allowed the meek to become mighty, for the mighty to become humbled, for the leaders to follow, and the followers to lead.

This is a true experience. We learn the most about ourselves when you need to count on your teamates. This game facilitated this notion beautifully.

I watched over a 7 hour period, leaders develop in people that otherwise may never take the chance. I watched groups of experienced players take orders from my ten year old Lieutenant, Kreed (GOOSES son) of SLAUGHTERHOUSE-5, and complete the mission without question. I watched as first time scenario players transformed into what seemed to be veterans of the sport.

As the day progressed, I began to truely see what was happening. As our headcounts dwindled, I noticed that there was no longer groups on the Northside, there was a single unified team.

Northside: we had 6 operating guns and 15 men on the field. I looked at my group of men, and at that moment, discovered outside concept, the evidence of what this sport is about. Its about the men next to you. Its about knowing that they will finish what we've started, and knowing that we will do whatever it takes to support our team. We win together. We lose together. And we love what we do regardless of that outcome. That is important. That is victory.

Northside: You share the MVT with SH5! You're in the photograph and you are never forgotten. HOOAH

G-FORCE: You made this possible. You developed a game design that took an entire side and made them one unified team side by side with Slaughterhouse-5, and slaughterhouse-5 side by side with the rest of the North.

Everyone: This is team. This is good. This is paintball.

Thank you all!

Awesome man! I was expecting a "the map is wrong!" issue to come up. I am so glad it went to you guys out there. Thank you for playing along. I knew at the ref briefing when I saw all your smiles you were going to enjoy it as much as the players!

Just wanted to say Nate that's an amazing post and you took the words right out of my mouth... Regardless, I think I have some thinking to do and some revisions to make before I post my final thoughts on such an absolutely unbeatable amazingly awesome game format that made my paintball life so changed as a result even though I had managed to predict some of the twists beforehand due to my excessive paranoia after commanding games like "The Thing" way back in January My post will come later today when I'm done with class for the day... But just to put this out there... G-FORCE games are THE BEST GAMES IN SCENARIO BALL.... Period... I will ALWAYS make time in my schedule to attend these games no matter what might be possibly conflicting... Here's to more G-Force games next year, the year after that... and for all the years to come! My congratz and "in-character" posting will be coming later... until then LONG LIVE G-FORCE!

My *** is sore from me kicking myself over missing this game. From reading these posts I can tell this is exactly the type of game I love to play and would expect no less from JPazz and Co. I'm not missing any of your games in 2010 unless they involve Phantom Pandas.
