A letter from the Northside General:
I would like to thank everyone who attended this one of a kind game. To everyone that stayed true to what paintball is really about; I thank you!
You are the ones that despite the weather, game challenges set forth, command requests, and unknown opposition, stood shoulder to shoulder and finished the job. Hooah!
To all of our friends of paintball, we don't get to shoot together enough.
To Skirmish

aul, Terry, Cleo, reffing staff, and registration crew; thank you for giving us players a forum to play! Your field is one of a kind!
Jpazz and Arh: Its always great to be a part of something where not only the heart of paintball reigns true, but where genuine friendships develop through common understanding!
Ladies and Gentlemen: Phantom Panic gave the paintball community an opportunity to experience something truly unique not only by the games complex design, but by the process of change within the men and women that I saw battle throughout the day.
G-Force presented a game that allowed the meek to become mighty, for the mighty to become humbled, for the leaders to follow, and the followers to lead.
This is a true experience. We learn the most about ourselves when you need to count on your teamates. This game facilitated this notion beautifully.
I watched over a 7 hour period, leaders develop in people that otherwise may never take the chance. I watched groups of experienced players take orders from my ten year old Lieutenant, Kreed (GOOSES son) of SLAUGHTERHOUSE-5, and complete the mission without question. I watched as first time scenario players transformed into what seemed to be veterans of the sport.
As the day progressed, I began to truely see what was happening. As our headcounts dwindled, I noticed that there was no longer groups on the Northside, there was a single unified team.
Northside: we had 6 operating guns and 15 men on the field. I looked at my group of men, and at that moment, discovered outside concept, the evidence of what this sport is about. Its about the men next to you. Its about knowing that they will finish what we've started, and knowing that we will do whatever it takes to support our team. We win together. We lose together. And we love what we do regardless of that outcome. That is important. That is victory.
Northside: You share the MVT with SH5! You're in the photograph and you are never forgotten. HOOAH
G-FORCE: You made this possible. You developed a game design that took an entire side and made them one unified team side by side with Slaughterhouse-5, and slaughterhouse-5 side by side with the rest of the North.
Everyone: This is team. This is good. This is paintball.
Thank you all!
