I'm not aware of any states with a legal age limit for playing paintball. Most fields throughout the country have a minimum age of 10 years old due to insurance requirements and not state or local laws regulating paintball.

Most Field Insurance Policies require the player to be at least 10 with parental consent.

Pretty sure theres no Florida law stating legal paintball age.
Its insurance industry driven and most companies that sell insurance to
paintball fields dont allow under 10 years old.

I swore it was 10 at our field. But I always saw children as young as 6 or 7 playing in the large parties. We seemed to turn a blind eye to that.
Of course, it's not like they carry ID. If the parents were to lie about the child's age, how could we ever know?
Edit: Personally, I don't believe someone under 12 should play. I started when I was 12, and that was still pretty young.

im pretty sure that their is no "law" it is more of a rule, that either the field and or the insurance company enforces

Yes. 10 is the age. As long as you have the waiver obviously.

Check Here
Some states do have legal ages, but most do not. In the link above is the Florida codified laws. Search paintball and see if there are any. I know in South Dakota there are zero laws on paintball.

Actually one of the biggest insurance agencies, the one that insures PSP and NPPL, is Cossio Insurance Agency, or CIA. They do not have an age limit, and it specifically says in there agreement their is no age limit unless there is a State Law.
