Team Sponsorship HELP!!!

Hey everyone,

Well I finaly put a team together and already played 2 events, no we're planning on playign often all year round and looking into getting sponsorships. We have already went around to local businesses and many of them would like to sponsor us but want to know how much they have to give to get a logo on our jersey. Thats where our problem is.

We were thinking of having 3-4 packages for sponsorships.

250$ - small 2" logo on the jersey
500$ - small 2" logo on jersey and hopper
1000$ - 4" logo on jersey and 2" on hopper
highest amoutn gets - 4" logo on jersey, 2" on hopper or tank, logo on banner and name mentioned at events

Let me know what you guys think or if you already have ideas or sponsorships that I can get info from.

Thanks!

Did you place in the events? If not you're probably asking too much.

200 dollars is more than enough for a new team. Don't get greedy. Remember, businesses sponsor a sporting team because they expect advertising to make a return for themselves. They need to get something out of it.

I agree with the previous posts.

I would say ask for less, it should be easier to get more businesses to donate more if they don't have to give a lot...which would (hopefully) bring in more money overall.

I would suggest:
$50 - 2" jersey logo
$100 - 4" jersey logo
$200 - 4" jersey logo and 4" banner logo
$250 - 4" jersey logo, 6" banner logo, and hopper logo

Also, regardless of how you plan on advertising for your sponsors, you should mention all of them. They are expecting you to advertise for them, that is why they are giving you the money.

Just my $.02

Well the only reason we put the prices high is because we already have 2 companies that want to give us 1000$.

So thats why we came up with those prices.

Our first event we placed 3rd, our second we placed 6th
