New 07 PMR wont shoot

My friend bought a brand new PMR shot it 4 times and it stopped working and now leaks out of the back cap and the barrel. Changed all the orings and it still does it. It acts as if it is not getting enough air. I tried my reg on it and it did the same thing. It shot fine, its lubed, everything seems to be tightened down.

Any ideas of what it could be?

if you take out the bolt and look down the beercan (the place where you put the bolt into) you will notice a hole located near the bottom center of the beercan (its a little off to the right). Now look at your bolt, make sure that the random section that sticks out is completely covering the hole because thats where the air comes through, if it isnt alligned that the air would just hiss out and leak out the backcap and front.

Always check the bolt first.

i forgot to say, the gun will leak if there isnt enough air pressure going into it, as in if the velocity isnt high enough. I thought my pmr was broken when it leaked like mad, but it was just cuz there wasnt enough pressure going in to seal something (at least thats wat the tech said...)

yes, the reg is where you adjust the velocity.

Like I said, its not mine. I can only go by what he told me happened. I guess he has used it before so it did not just happen right out of the box. He shot it a few times before the day we played. Im guessing it was over pressurized, but I dont think the noid is blown or anything. It doesnt leak. I really have no idea what it could be. I have an AKA Viking so Im not used to having to fix stuff anymore.
