Why I'm an Explicit Fan
Since I started playing paintball there was always a negative stigma surrounding the tournament and professional scene. That is, the players don't care about their fans and are just over-competitive, cheating, (for lack of a better term) Jerks.
When this forum opened, a friend from the bay area was telling me about you guys on AIM. He said you were great guys... so I started coming. Pretty much right away I noticed you were different than my perception - perhaps a negative one - of Pro paintball players. Over the past few months, I really feel like myself and the other fans have truly found a sense of camaraderie with the players. You've answered my questions about paintball, you've chatted with me in the OT, and then there's Rob.
Rob is really a great leader, role model, and friend. At one point when I hadn't been on in a few weeks due to my computer, he emailed me to see if everything was okay. I thought to myself, "Wow, this guy TRULY cares about his fans." You've been so giving and so kind to me, much more than I'd ever expect of a complete stranger. He loves the sport of paintball (and that is an understatement) just as much as anybody I've ever met.
I just thought I would share this. So a big thank you to Rob, Jana, and the guys of Explicit. Good luck at WCO

I read this about an hour ago. I sent Mike an email letting him know that I was at awe with his kind words and support. I told him I didn't know what to post. Wow, I still don't know what to say but Thank you, Thank you. Your kinds words humble me. All of you guys have been such an inspiration to us. !

My Mother taught me to always remember where we came from and how we got to where we are now. And it was often through sacrifice and sometimes suffering that we have arrived. We are trully blessed to even have fans and with humility I accept this to be true. Thank you. I can also assure you that neither my Mother or Rob will let me forget.

I read this before I left and I didn't know what to say. Mike speaks the truth about the love between explicit and there fans. Explicit isn't one of those teams that you ask a question and never get a answer because they think there better then you. I think they know where people are coming from.

HA, i know i know, you should be a mod :nododgy:
but yea, like when i first joined pbn...i tried posting in pro teams forums and such, and usually i got the idea that most pro teams arent accepting to the new fans and are only interested in older fans and such, and as mike said, i fond out about this team through a old thread and old family called t-77 army...after i heard i also noticed that this team has no racism over speedball/scenario/woodsball, its all paintball and this team understands it, i feel like a true fan here and i love explicit, my support is always with you guys 100%
