I like first call.. but the guns they had this week end sucked... normally they have some neat stuff but they just had poorly laser engraved miss matched guns.

Guys On behalf of the Refs this weekend ( think its fair to say all the refs)

THANK YOU ALL.
You all played an awesome game.
You all carried yourselves very well .
I feel at least 90-95 percent of the players on both teams played beyond fair.

I didn't see many players continue playing after being shot, i seen alot of players calling them self out or running to a ref after being hit to ask if a shot broke.

alot of players returned lost and found items most would have just kept for them self. I was truly happy with this past weekend.

with the few small problems or issues there may have been I would say all in all this past weekend kicked some major @$$ and I was kinda sad to see it end.


Again, to all the players on PBN who came out to play this weekend THANK YOU. you made my first I.O.N working at skirmish a great one. I cant wait to Ref you guys again.

Unless you psychically found it and handed it to a ref I will tell you right now, No reball was found ANYWHERE.

shock teams were checking players hoppers and pods CONSTANTLY, I dont just mean at random I mean entire fields of players, anytime we hear anything or seen anything first hand with non field (aka illegal paint) one shock team would cover allied side and one would cover german side of the shooting and do a sweep of every player we could that was insight.

even when there was no allegations of illegal paint we were still checking pods and hoppers of everyone we came across, whether it was during mass insertions or just a large group walking into a zone people were checked alot. it got to the point where if groups even saw us coming they would pop open the hoppers without having to ask.

I wont lie and say there was no illegal paint because we all know there was but there was no factual confirmed cases of rebal , fields were swept in line formation when and it was looked for on the ground. and none was found.

I only heard two people claim it while there, and there was none, () it turned out to be orange and yellow paint that had a harder shell .the orange broke orange and the yellow broke green) unless it you had it in your hand it honestly could be mistaken.(i was hit with the same paint and first thought the same thing.


so again, it was $&%**# illegel paint.

yea i was with a guy that got hit with orange paint it wasnt a big deal ref went right after the allies side to check paint

i was checked and rechecked for paint in my hopper and pods

the ref with the bmx chest protector checked my squad about 40 times on sat alone was funny and he joked about it but it was always done

honestly though skirmish has gotten better each year ive been there for this event and i hope it continues to improve

That was me..lol.. checking that much paid off this year for any small amount that may had made its way onto the fields more then you know didn't (not that it was beyond crazy amount but ya get the idea). and the paint that did, wasn't on field long.


I thank each and everyone of the players that went along with the hopper and pod checks with a smile.
