Best cleats for paintball

So what type of cleats would be best suited for paintball? I'll be using it both for airball and woodsball. Some suggest soccer cleats and others say football cleats.

Just bought a pair of nike landsharks low from sports authority. They felt nice and secure on the feet and feels light enough for quick sprints.

It's personal preference. Some like soccer cleats for the lightness which lets them run faster (how much faster is debatable). Some like high top football cleats for more ankle support. Those that play mainly woods seem to like combat boots. It's all what you want to do. I personally use football cleats for added ankle support in the woods. If I was playing speedball only I'd use soccer cleats.

I use under armour hammer 2 mids when playing speedball or woodsball. I've been happy with them and at $43 or less they're nicely priced. I would definetely recommend trying them and the nike landsharks in a store. The UA fit me better than the Nikes or Adidas I tried.

I would rec'd Nike Baseball cleats. I got mine at a Nike outlet store for $20 and they were one of the best things I ever bought.

I use rubber baseball cleats. I had them from when we couldn't use metal. So far they work great. I primarily play indoor and they are great on the turf and they work well in the woods as the provide a little bit more ankle support than soccer cleats.

I play soccer, and have for 10 years so I like soccer cleats. I LOVE using my Nike Mercurial Vapor 4's for paintball, they're soooo light and they're super tight feeling, and the citron colourway is awesome. But I'm sure you aren't looking to dish out $200 for a pair of cleats just for paintball, so I'd just go to a store with some cheaper cleats and try them on.

First Call Paintball has the JT Paintball Cleats for only $14.99, only sizes smaller than 9.5 though. I use the Mid-Top ones, very nice.

I wear Nike LT's mid tops for both X-ball tournies and woods ball rec. I do it because it doesn't wear me out like running in boots all day but still supports my ankles.

Puma m5000's are amazing, but there expensive.
Just some cheap soccer cleats will do wonders.

Here in Canada Amero Paintball has the same deal, I actually went with the high-tops for 15.99, they're great. They're high enough to get the ankle support of a boot without the heaviness and the zip up is great for not getting paint in the laces, however is you hit a smooth surface covered in paint you're done like dinner. When breaking them in I walked into a bathroom with a damp tile floor and instantly felt like Bambi on ice. Speed off the break is fantastic on both turf and in the woods.
