I know what you mean, even if it isnt the lack of paint, paintball just isn't like it used to be. I miss streetballin with my friends and not having to deal with any off the bs and drama. But things change and I guess we all have to change with it

You don't have to conform. Just try and get a few friends who just play for the fun and the love of the game.

Well we all know that the economy is as bad as we have ever seen it. But besides that everyone has forgot why we all started playing tournament paintball. It was for many of us to play at a competitive level but to still have fun. Now with the PSP, USPL, WCPPL, RPL, Riot, SCPL, AFTS and many more we as a community have become very splintered and have no central format or league that we all play. Therefore we seem to be loosing interest because we go to these events or fields and there is three or four teams and it gets old real quick. It would be nice if we could as players get together and work towards a common goal (making paintball better). Just a thought.

You said it mike
Ive also noticed that paintball isnt really the same
But you also have to realize that:
A. People move on
B. People can no longer afford it
C. There are so many fields now

In my opinion paintball was at its best when i could play a game at SC Village and then when i was done watch Dynasty, XSV, Aftermath, and many other teams practice in the fish bowl
Man, those were the days..

There are too many tournament series, and too many fields. Everyone is spread out it's not like back in the day when you'd go to sc and EVERYONE was there ALL THE TIME.

Plus everyone is playing on a team now, no one has the desire to just play legit streetball for fun except a select few. I really wish everyone would just decide to play xball at one field so we can all grind out points like back in the day.

Ya but also your judging someone from a third point of view. You could be at the field from 7-5, but if your not taking it seriously and grinding out points whats the point ? So you can tell people how long you play paintball for ? When a team is organized, efficient, and wholesome. You can easily have a very beneficial practice in a shorter period of time. But i see your point.

Just my 2 cents.

i was at sc with my family for my brothers bday today, we played these guys who were in jerseys (we were all in scrubby clothes) and they were cursing at my family for no reason, but we won (duh)and so these guys decided that they were better and knew more about the rules of paintball and we shouldnt have won, so they decided to gang up and hit me. good old paintball.....
