Overpriced Psycho pumps!!!

I am so sick of seeing these damn things (superbolts and lightnings) priced at "350 obo"

You take a $50 gun, remove the crappy front block and slap on a pump kit that costs b/n $35 and $125 - and how does this make the POS worth over $200?

I don't care if it shoots "darts", "lasers", or "ropes"... it' still a $100 chinese pile of scrap aluminum.

its likes other lightnings... i think is what he's trying to say.

True story, they are not worth a lot, but they're made with cheep quality parts. You get what you pay for. If you put nice internals/pnumatics/pump/frame/reg on those things they'll shoot just as nice as anything else...they just need those parts first. Because they don't have them, they're cheep. But if you need a project gun...or just a body and a frame to work up from, they're great.

i personally love my lightning. I don't see why taking my gun and adding some quality parts and doing some custom work could never make it worth $300. Milling, halfblock, midblock, ccm'd frame and kit, anno, other mods, i guess none of that can ever make my lightning worth $300 huh?

i feel you on them being overpriced by some individuals. I posted mine up FST before i decided to keep it and work on it. I had mine up for $150ish with an arch kit, slider, bm reg, & raps. I don't see how mine wasn't priced decently.

lightnings are to pump like ions are to electros. they come stock with **** *** parts, but you can get them working and shooting like some of the best out there. granted i sold my ion for $150 with a hand full of upgrades

Lightnings are way better than Superbolts. Probably the best bang for your buck. You get a UL clone barrel, a nice slider frame, a delrin bolt and none of the tiny valve chamber BS that you get with the Superbolt. Just throw a nice reg and ASA on and you've got a great gun.

it pisses me off when i see stock cockers converted back to snipers priced the same as well

only MY stock cocker converted back to a sniper is worth that much because i can actually tune it, and that tuning IS worth the extra 150, but i would never charge that much for a stock gun

those people disgust me and i hope they get ripped off in other ways in life

Actually, I prefer it. Atleast then I know who not to buy a marker from.

Plus, the ones who over-mark their guns are the ones who we don't want playing pump anyhow.

unless you really don't know the market.. and just put a price just cause (or maybe how much they think its worth.. works on certain less common guns though; like my cobra.. i hella dont' know the price range for that LOL)... then i kinda understand.. compared to someone who starts saying to $150 offers, "150 is way too lowball, get out of my thread you POS" then they're effing with themselves..

Well, there is a difference between getting what you want for a gun and overmarking. Overmarking is when you intentionally are trying to get more than what the gun is worth. But some people like there guns so much that they dont want to let them go. I would never sell my 99' sniper for less than $400, but i know that it is only worth around $180, so i will never sell it. Im not trying to be selfish, i just love that gun too much.

maybe you can do that to a superbolt...

but my lightning has taken a ridiculous beating for the past 10 weekends i've used it.

The worst lowball i got was $150 for my proto... Granted i'm not in tht electro market anymore, but based on common sense of me seeing others like mine but not in as good of shape, caused me to blow up on the guy... who was also selling his stock ego7 for $700. lawls followed.

but i did see a couple superbolts with the stock frontblock compatable kits & both had regs and asa's that were nothing special...listed at $200 each. that made me mad.

Oh trust me, I know. But there is a difference between doing a high $$ requirement because you don't want cash, and doing a high $$ requirement because you're an idiot.

The former is ok. The latter is not....though entertaining.
