This thread won't last very long. I think I'm the only one in Southwest Kansas that even gets on here anymore. There really isn't any paintball out this way except for a few games out in the woods here and there. Speedball died out around here like 8 years ago when the store in Garden City closed down.

Def need to see a field closer by.. Have a lot of people playing here in Garden. Someone just needs to setup a speedball or hyperball field already!

I hear you, I'm in Spearville, outside of Dodge for those of you not from the area and the closest field is the one up at Hays or the one in Hutch both 1.5 hours away from me. Where do you guys play in Garden?

Hey guys trust me I say there is still a ton of players from out west. I started my paintball career in Ulysses and I know they still play at Fraizer Park.
Here is is how we organized games back then.
#1.Have a place that you have permission to play on.
#2.Find someone willing to to bring out HPA and Co2 with a few spare parts and orings
#3. Extra Paint if you can afford it always buy more than you can use as someone might run out and you can sell it to them.
#4 Post an ad in Garden City Telegram, Dodge City Daily, Liberal and maybe Ulysses News in ther classified section. Maybe even contact some writers from those papers to do a short story about paintball and when the next play date.
Ad should include:
Location
Time
What to bring
Always tell them to invite friends.
You will be surprised by doing this I encouraged a crowd of almost 80 players every other Sunday to drive to Ulysses to play paintball.
Need an Airball course bring a trailer to The Edge Paintball Adventures and you can have my old Xball course (is in need of some repair but still played on weekly) Must be from Western Kansas and show me an ad you placed so I know you have your stuff togather. Always willing to help.
Matte

You cannot get any more generous than that. That's awesome!!!!!
May I add. Post on Craigslist in your area too. It's free and does very well. Post under sporting goods. You'll get some response.

We play at the river (right over the dike at the three i building) and we have a course set up. Usually have about 20 people show up so its all fun. Im sure i can talk alot of people into driving up to Ulysses and playing! And an airball field would be awesome!! I have been driving up to Hays quite a few times just to play some speedball.

Garden City is comming back into paintballing, we just need a field, and needa get the word out to people. For me is really the only thing I ever do to pass time and have fun. Hope the Bio-Hazard group is successful with the field theyre bringing in.

I would LOVE to play a streetball event in some desolate town, players randomly selected for each team comprised of players ranging from pro to d4, like sturgis for paintball, just take over someone's farm for a weekend, camp, BBQ, party, play....would be a LOT of fun without the tournament pressure, I know some old schoolers in here remember those days. Like the vicious streetball event, but more emphasis on the party, and fun togther as ballers.
