The manual says to try different motors out but not to mess with the battery packs like with the Boost and things like that. I have a critical cone in mine but that's about it and it still feeds nice. Though capped at 15 it doesn't really matter what I use for hoppers.

I received mine and tested it today on my A1.
Is it just me, or does this thing make your halo spin waaayy too fast? I have an empire freeway and a hybrid cone/cup installed. Those last 5-8 balls will popcorn like mad even with the freeway.
I was shooting inferno grade. Seems like this has too much force/speed for anything of the brittle nature.

I'd guess that most people (who keep better track of their paint consumption than I do..... ) would have reloaded prior to getting down to the last eight balls. Taking that in to consideration, if it is only the last few balls that are a problem, then it shouldn't really be that big an issue.

I shoot halos dry without knowing it. The Magna and Prophecy loader ruined me. There is a lot of popcorning with the V10 though. On my critical cone there is a small ridge between the top curve where the large 'C' is and right above the fins, if paint falls right on that it can ride right up against the anti-jam beads and never move unless I shake it.

I definitely reload before I get that low, but I was just concerned about a hopper break during a tourny.
I guess the ultra evil usage clears that up for me.

Ya just sent an email to them asking for my board supplied everything even the confirmation number off the receipt. I heard of one person not being on the list and having to call and they finally sorted out the board problem for him. I just hope I don't get ****ed over.

Now, perhaps that would be a better option than buying a HALO B upgrade board..... then again, people who already have a HALO B might prefer to buy an $80 upgrade over a complete loader for $150. If you were buying a HALO B just to use this board, well, that's a different story altogether.
What your comment doesn't take in to account is that when people ordered these boards - two years ago - the Rotor didn't even exist, so buying it just wasn't an option back then.
Having said that, I'd rather invest my money in a Prophecy over a Rotor but that's another story. Sound or RF use, six speed settings and adjustable sound sensitivity, tension monitoring, tension adjustment via the clutch, tool free disassembly, three easily changed capacities, stock Freeway, etc. OK, it has the downsides of added complexity and using more batteries, but I think the flexibility of the clutch mechanism is worth the added complexity, but that's just my own personal opinion.

The majority of us care because we paid for the boards two years ago and just want to get what we purchased. This isn't a versus thread for what is a better loader and I already have a feeling the majority of us have Prophecys, Rotors, and Vlocities while we were waiting for these boards.
Uziel sniped me!!!

OK there fanboy your not biased in the least are you?
I lol every time I hear or read something like this. I lol because in the entire time I've owned a halo (which was my first electric hopper) I've never had a single jam with a pb only reballs and have never come close to out shooting it. On the other hand I work at a field every weekend and see tons of people with rotors and after talking to them it comes out to around 7 out 10 having problems with them jamming and jamming often (I consider several times a day often) and rotors haven't even been out that long In fact just this sunday I saw a guy sell his rotor for all of 20 bucks cause he was so sick of it's crap.
Perhaps you could explain how trying to reinvent the wheel and failing at it makes it better? Maybe it's better with it's awesome antijam thingy that doesn't even catch whatever part it's suppose to to clear a jam and merely slides back and forth freely like it's broke half the time?
After everything I've seen I put the rotor a step above a gravity feed when it comes to reliability
Oh and BTW I care and so do many others. You obviously don't but bothered to post? What does that say about you? Let me ask you something. Can you name me a single other company that stepped up made something like this situation right without a court order requiring them to do so?
