help me out with this angel

I'm not much into speedball but I picked this up with a bundle of stuff today and need to know what it might be worth so I can sell it or trade for a good woodsball gun. This gun is obviously not in good working order but looks like it would be worth rebuilding and seems to have some upgraded parts as well as originals.

Undrilled they range from 250-350

Drilled drop the price down a lot- 100-150

That's an Impact IR3. Rare - only 100 were made.

Your impact is missing the original impact trigger, volumizer, barrel, and minireg.
Although your gun has been drilled for eyes, the mod done on your gun is known as "flied." It is done professionally by the only angel master tech left and is the most sought after eye mod offerred for old angels. For me personally, I appraise it as being worth the same as an undrilled angel because of this mod.

Total value of your gun would probably be in the 210 - 240 range.
If it were a complete impact fully intact it would be worth around 400

Just so you know, Bob isn't the only one that did Mt mods. Ken crane also did, as did matt Wilson. And he screwed some (at least one, mine) up. And I do remember badluckcharm (matt) selling an impact ir3 Mt fly. Have you tested the eyes? Mine didn't line up and had to be drilled out

on the impact ir3 fly...with out knowing what board (if any) is in it and the fact that it is untested and missing original parts I would lean more towards the 125-150 ish price range. It is rare for sure, but its also considered less desirable than most other comperable milling styles (like impact lcd's, mamba ir3's ect), which means there is a small collectors market for these, and collectors want complete markers... The eyes hurt value a little but like trevor said they are the best possible conversion it could have. At least they arnt epoxied in. Good luck selling.

Trancer, just think about the failure rate when all the kids were trying to drill their own guns for eyes. So yeah, that sucks that a couple mt jobs didn't turn out quite right, but they're usually the best if you are gonna ace an older angel. Also, I know others did the mod, but Bob is the only one left that does them.
In terms of the epoxy eyes, I kinda liked the original WSLA ACE conversion. There was something "agg" about it if I can say that.

i actually like the predator mod/eblade ones the best. Simple and easy. I have two Epoxied bodies that i would love to tap and add eblade covers too

I was talking about adding eblade covers to a "WSLA" epoxy eye mod...

9 out of 10 bodies i've seen that were drilled and epoxied had uneven holes when drilled, so if you were to put eblade covers over the drilled holes, they wouldn't cover the whole socket, which negates you from doing anymore than is already done...

From what I remember as well, there were a few members back when i was collecting that tried it, and the eye holes were actually lower than they were supposed to be and couldn't get the eblade cover to get a good enough seal around the body to keep light out of the socket itself...

Again, all it would take is some proper measuring from a "proper" job to a "homebrew" job to see if the spacing and location of the drilling is correct, but i doubt that will be the case in most of those epoxy'd eye jobs...
