hammer pin

I've had my gun for about a month now and have had some minor problems but today I was shooting it with my new barrel, a longbow I paid $70.- for. All of a sudden it stopped recocking. When I took the back block out the hammer pin was broken right off. I called tech support and had no problems getting a replacement. Has anyone heard of this happening? The gun has been shooting like a dream until this.

Wow that's a new one... Probability would suggest anything is possible, and it would also suggest its unlikely to happen to you again .

The gun was shooting just fine and all of a sudden it stopped recocking. I thought my tank was low (maybe the gauge was off). That's what it sounded like when firing. I cocked it manually a couple times then I took it apart. The bumper is fine. Techs said maybe the pin was seated correctly from them? It's been fine until now.

Vern1 helped look for balloons
Greetings,
You are lucky.
Mine scratched the inside of the bore that the hammer/striker rides in.
It took a good bit of polishing to get it to recock with a new hammer.
There have been others with this problem.

Oh man your first problem Huge....

This happend to me as well. I got a replacment no problem...maybe they should make the pin fatter, or make the striker out of Steel instead of stainless.
