Omen Stats

Alright, I know I have an Impulse and a lot of you guys are anit-Smart Parts, but there is not reason we cant get along . Anyway, I am impressed with the Omen and was looking at one for a backup possibly. So i have some questions:

1. Operating PSI and avg. shots per fill for your tank (lemme know what size).

2. Whats the boards max bps? (my chrony max is 17, so if its higher than that, I'm happy)

3. Is its easy to walk the trigger, the Omen does have an odd style trigger, is there really any differance?

4. How does it run off of Co2 w/ and w/o anti-siphon?

5. Relaibility, is it reliable so far, and is it a fairly simple gun internal wise?

6. This Heathen/Avatar/Minion/etc I have been hearing about, does anyone know about these?, or are they just kinda a runor right now?

7. And where are you guys finding these things so damn cheap?

Thanks a lot, sorry to bother you guys with so many questions, but the Omen is a little known of gun.

1. Average operating PSI is 200. A littel higher or low depending on paint to barrel match and FPS you need. I think I get a little over 1000 shots on a 68/3000.

2. The current max is 15 bps. There are uncapped boards coming out.

3. The Omen does have a odd shaped trigger but I do find it very easy to walk.

4. It runs well on Co2 with a anti-siphon, not sure about non-tubed. I would never risk killing a reg. with Co2, so I have not tried it.

5. The new models seem much more reliable than the early run. The internals are very simple, if you can deal with your Impulse this will be a piece of cake.

6. There is not much real news on the new Evil markers yet, a lot of romors though.

7. If you e-mail me I can hook you up with a good price, I am a authorized dealer ( unlike some that are selling them. )

Do a search for a guy named Shadrach. He's selling new Omen's with the black trigger and larger frame for $380.

Or you could just ask him to come over and say hi.

Here's the link to my Omens for sale thread

http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.p...hreadid=284701

The pics on the thread show silver triggers and small frames but rest assured that I have the new ones. I'm sure there are a few people in here that can say I do.

Thanks for the offer but TheBoss33 hooked me up w/ a good price, Im not getting one 'til mid-November, but thanks for the offer anyway. Also for those of you who have shot high end guns, how does the Omen compare too these guns? The Omen will be one hell of a kikass backup gun if its everything its supposed to be. Also, I have seen the "First Omen Video" but that guy is shooting pretty slow, is there any other vidoes I could see of the Omens in action that have faster bps? I am tired of relying on those slow electro Spyders as backups (my Imps only broken once, but I will take any excuse to get an Omen), and the Omen seems to be cheap, pretty fast, accurate, and reliable.

Thanks a lot.

No big deal. There's plenty of Omen sales for everybody. Good luck with your new gun.

Just use an anti-siphon tank, it'll be fine. The only way it can mess up your omen is freezing the o-rings in the regulator.

To fix the wiggle in the back block, just put a small peice of electro tape on the bottem...this is how I fixed J's back block....very easy.

ok thanx spartan. It doesn't look very pimp to have a gun w/ a crooked tail. O and is the black trigger really better? If so how much better?

Personally I liked my Older one better, it just seemed better with the smaller trigger guard. And the Black trigger really is not a big deal, I did not notice a deffernce at al....the mag one actually looks more plastic, so you may get coments....

Well I find that the black trigger has a difference... its lighter so it seems to move quicker. I've tried em both side by side and I definately liked the magnesium one better.
