Help finding a paintball gun

I am fairly new to paintball and would like to have my own marker. I am looking for a gun that resembles a real gun, as i am used to handling real guns, but now that I have moved south of Michigan's rifle/shotgun line, I hardly get to shoot my guns. I would like to be able to put a scope on top of it without the scope having to be offset, so I can bore sight it (i own an adjustable barrel size bore sighting kit that would fit into the end of a paintball marker, and it goes up in 10 yard increments) I would also like to have the air tank not under a stock, but not have to use a remote line. Of course, it has to be inexpensive (not cheap, but not where I could buy a brand new gun instead of the paintball gun) and very customizable later on. I was looking at the rap4 t68, but some people I know that play paintball said it wasn't worth the cost for a beginner, and that I should get a tippman 98 or a-5 if i wanted that real gun feel. What markers could you all suggest for me, and what accessories could I get that would make it feel like a real gun?

Also could you post links to a product that is related to what i need?

Please don't make threads asking "what gun should I buy?" We call these "vs." threads because generally people ask about one gun vs another one. Everyone has their own personal preference and often these threads turn into flame wars because people take these kinds of decisions very seriously. Start by checking out the reviews on the guns you are interested in that are within your price range.

If there are no reviews out yet because the item has not been released or has not caught on, give it time. Once other users have them in their hands, we'll start getting feedback here on the site. If you want to be the first person to own one, then you are taking a risk no matter what it is. Badgering the manufacturer is not allowed and it won't give you the unbiased answers you crave anyway. They are after all trying to get you to buy something.

If you still want people's opinions about how one marker stacks up against another, post in the Endall Best Marker Sticky and ask.

However, the best way to choose your next gun is to try it out. Paintball guns are totally personal preference. Shoot everything you are considering, buy what you like the most. If no one local has what you want, then there's a good chance no one local can fix it if something goes wrong.

Please take a minute to check out the newbie forum rules.
